Patent number: 9682631Abstract: A power-supply-side coil receives an alternating current from an AC power source to produce a magnetic flux. A power-supply-side capacitor is connected in parallel with the power-supply-side coil. A power-supply-side filter circuit includes a reactor and a capacitor, which are connected in series between the AC power source and the power-supply-side coil. A power-receiving-side coil is interlinked with a magnetic flux produced by the power-supply-side coil to produce an alternating current. The power-supply-side filter circuit, the power-supply-side capacitor, and the power-supply-side form a circuit having an impedance having a frequency characteristic, in which a frequency of a minimum point formed on a high-frequency side relative to a maximum point is greater than a frequency of a fundamental wave of an alternating current supplied from the AC power source and is less than a frequency of a third order wave of the fundamental wave.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2013Date of Patent: June 20, 2017Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Akira Sakamoto, Nobuhisa Yamaguchi

Patent number: 9502905Abstract: In a signal and power transmission system, a primary coil and a secondary coil magnetically coupled to the primary coil and connected to an electrical path are provided. An encoder encodes a target signal to be transmitted to produce a pulse code signal, and a voltage applying unit applies a voltage signal based on the pulse code signal to the primary coil as an input voltage signal. A decoder decodes an output voltage signal induced in the secondary coil using a variation in the output voltage signal into a decoded signal corresponding to the target signal. The output voltage signal is induced in the secondary coil based on the input voltage signal. A rectifier rectifies a current flowing through the electrical path connected to the secondary coil according to the output voltage signal induced in the secondary coil, thus outputting a rectified current as power.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2012Date of Patent: November 22, 2016Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventor: Nobuhisa Yamaguchi

Publication number: 20150380948Abstract: A contactless power supply system for transferring power without contact between a primary side coil and a secondary side coil is provided. In the contactless power supply system, a manipulation unit manipulates a secondary side converter so that power outputted to a load is controlled to be a command value. The manipulation unit manipulates an input voltage of a primary side resonance circuit so that a current flowing in the primary side resonance circuit equals a product of a current flowing in the secondary side resonance circuit and a current coefficient. The current coefficient is defined as a square root of a specific value and the specific value is an equivalent resistance of the secondary side resonance circuit divided by an equivalent resistance of the primary side resonance circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 4, 2014Publication date: December 31, 2015Inventors: Kouji MAZAKI, Nobuhisa YAMAGUCHI, Keisuke TANI, Eisuke TAKAHASHI, Kazuyoshi OBAYASHI

Publication number: 20150326031Abstract: A non-contact power supply apparatus includes a transmission-side pad, a transmission-side resonant circuit, a reception-side pad, a reception-side resonant circuit, a power transmission circuit, a power reception circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls an alternating-current voltage supplied to the transmission-side pad and an alternating-current voltage supplied to the power reception circuit, so that a power factor of the alternating current supplied from the power transmission circuit to the transmission-side pad connected to the transmission-side resonant circuit and direct-current power supplied from the power supply circuit to an on-board battery are respectively set to target values. As a result, change in power factor can be suppressed even when the coupling coefficient of the transmission-side pad and the reception-side pad changes, and predetermined electric power can be transmitted.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2013Publication date: November 12, 2015Inventors: Nobuhisa YAMAGUCHI, Akira SAKAMOTO, Kouji MAZAKI, Kouki NAGURA

Publication number: 20140222290Abstract: Comparators of a rotary electric machine control apparatus acquire terminal voltages of each phase, which are developed at junction points between high-potential side FETs and low-potential side FETs, respectively. In switching over ON and OFF of the high-potential side FETs and the low-potential side FETs, a control unit determines a flow direction of a phase current supplied to each phase coil based on a terminal voltage developed in a dead time period, in which a the high-potential side FET and the low-potential side FET forming a pair are both turned off. Thus, the flow direction of each phase current is determined in a simple configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2013Publication date: August 7, 2014Applicant: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Takahiro YAMANAKA, Nobuhisa YAMAGUCHI
