  • Patent number: 6343147
Abstract: When an image is displayed on a display device on the basis of image data, a blank region is formed around the image. A background color is displayed on the blank region. The background color to be displayed on the blank region is set so that its color temperature nearly matches that of a white paper sheet placed under desired illumination light. In this manner, the color tone of a preview image can be adjusted to match that of the original image with high precision.

  • Patent number: 6198553
Abstract: An image processor matches a hue of an output image with a hue of a preview image. The image processor generates preview image data to confirm on a display, an output color image generated by an image forming unit. The image processor incudes an input unit which inputs from the image forming unit density data representative of the output color image, the density data depending on the output characteristics of the image forming unit. A conversion unit converts the input density data into luminance data in a predetermined color space, and a color correction unit corrects color of the luminance data in accordance with the display characteristics and observation conditions of the display. The preview image data is generated dependent on the type of display and color temperature of the display.

  • Patent number: 5655073
Abstract: In an information processing debugging apparatus, a debugger owns a debug information adding element and a data with type access instructing element. The debug information adding element gives data type symbol information of a data type from a debug information object file to be used by an information processing program in a program object file to be debugged. The typed data access instructing element instructs an access operation by using a variable symbol of the information process program and an added data type symbol information as a variable having a data type where an operator designates a variable of the information program. Such an information processing program which is not formed by a debug option is symbolically debugged without increasing the memory capacity. A practical information processing program such as a library which is not directly related to debugging operation can also be symbolically debugged.

  • Patent number: 5275999
Abstract: Disclosed is a process of preparing a catalyst supporting highly metal particles comprising, in the presence of carbon monoxide in a solution containing a metal-containing ion and a support on which metal particles produced by reduction of the metal-containing ion are supported, reducing by means of a reductant the metal-containing ion to the corresponding metal particles which are then supported on the support. According to the process of the present invention, because of the presence of the carbon monoxide which is supposed to have a function of depressing the deposition of a new metal particle present around the metal particles supported on the support, that is, the growth of the metal particles and another function of preventing the agglomeration among the metal particles supported, the catalyst of excellent properties having the metal particles supported and monodispersed on the support with the narrow particle size distribution can be prepared of which an average particle size is not more than 20 .ANG..

  • Patent number: 4953076
Abstract: A versatile time difference comparison compensation method of a control system, wherein a desired value or a reference value of feedback control is branched into several parts. One of the branches is directly compared with a feedback variable to obtain a first difference value and lag elements having various delay times are connected to the other of the branches, respectively, in order to make time difference comparison between the desired value or the reference value and the feedback variable to obtain second and third difference quantities, respectively. Various weighting elements receive the difference quantities inclusive of the first difference quantity to put various weights to the difference quantities and to obtain signals and the sum of the resulting signals is then calculated and the signal obtained by the sum is passed through a gain adjustment element to re-adjust a gain adaptive to a controlled system to produce an operation quantity.
