  • Patent number: 5253007
Abstract: A camera having a special photography function comprises a focus detecting circuit for detecting a state of focus of a subject, a focus-position altering circuit for altering a focus position of a photographic optical system in response to a detection result provided by the focus detecting circuit, and a special-photography executing circuit for executing special photography utilizing multiple exposure. The special-photography executing circuit is arranged to control the focus-position altering circuit in response to a release operation to shoot one exposure on a photosensitive portion with the photographic optical system placed in an in-focus position and continuously shoot at least one exposure on the same photosensitive portion with the photographic optical system placed in a defocused position on a closest-distance side, thereby effecting the multiple exposure.

  • Patent number: 4828869
Abstract: A packed aseptic soybean curd is prepared by thermally treating dehulled and hypocotyl-removed soybeans with superheated steam to sterilize same, grinding the soybeans in the presence of heated water to prepare the green slurry, filtering the slurry to separate same and to obtain a soybean milk, heating the soybean milk to sterilize the same and denature the soybean protein therein, aseptically adding a coagulant into the denatured soybean milk, filling same into and sealing an aseptic container, and then heating the soybean milk to cause a coagulation thereof in the container.

  • Patent number: 4801340
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a permanent magnet using alloys of the formula R(T.sub.1-y M.sub.y).sub.z, wherein R denotes one or two species of rare earth metals, including Y, T denotes transition metals, principally Fe or Fe and Co, M denotes metalloid elements, principally B, and wherein 0.02<y<0.15, and 5<z<9), to obtain permanent magnets with high orientation properties through the formation of 50-1000 .mu.m crude grains by spraying the alloys in a hot melt state using an inert gas atomization process, forming grains of less than 30 .mu.m by a mechanical pulverizing process after crystal texture in the crude grains has grown to over 30 .mu.m granules by a heat-treatment of the crude grains in a vacuum or in an inert atmosphere below 1000.degree. C., whereupon the grain powder is compression molded and heat treated at 500.degree.-900.degree. C. under a magnetic field to yield a compacted powder permanent magnet.

  • Patent number: 4471736
Abstract: An ignition timing control system for an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders in which at each of different load conditions determined by the operating conditions of the engine the ignition timing for each cylinder is periodically retarded to cause a nonknocking ignition and the resulting background vibration levels detected by a knock sensor are stored in a memory. During the normal operation, the vibration level detected by the knock sensor with respect to each cylinder is compared with the corresponding background vibration level stored under the same load condition to detect the presence of knocking and thereby to determine the proper ignition timing.
