  • Patent number: 8009134
Abstract: A data driver circuit is divided into a low potential region, an intermediate potential region, and a high potential region, and relative withstand voltages in the respective regions are set equal to each other. Both of the transmission of a power source voltage to the high potential region from the low potential region and the transmission of video signals are performed via the intermediate potential region. Due to such a constitution, the withstand voltages in the respective regions can be suppressed to low values.

  • Publication number: 20100259504
Abstract: Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. According to the present invention, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, a circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width (X46)) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width (Y47)) of an area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area (6) overlap each other may be determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width (X46) and the overlap width (Y47) are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.

  • Patent number: 7692644
Abstract: In a display apparatus of a hold type represented by a TFT liquid crystal display, blurring of dynamic picture when the dynamic picture is displayed is improved. One frame is divided into dark fields and light fields. A dark brightness gradation voltage approaching to display of black as near as possible is generated in the dark fields and a light brightness gradation voltage for compensating the brightness reduced by the dark fields is generated in the light fields. At this time, low gradation voltages (V0P to V20P) or high gradation voltages (V43P to V63P) in the dark or light brightness gradation voltages are set to the same potential.

  • Publication number: 20100060609
Abstract: In a touched position detection method for a touch panel for detecting a touched position, based on measured values by a plurality of sensors, presence of a touch is determined when a measured value by a sensor exceeds a touch threshold. As a touch threshold, a value which cannot be attained due to a mere noise but can due to presence of a touch is set. With respect to sensors located in the vicinity of a sensor showing a high measured value, a higher weighted value is applied to modify a measured value in a touched position calculation process than that to be applied to other sensors.
