Abstract: A diphenylimidazole type cyan dye represented by the following Formula [I] or [II] is disclosed. The dye is capable of displaying relatively more preferable absorption characteristics so as to serve as a cyan dye, and suitable to be use in photographic, thermal transfer, ink-jet, printing or other printing media.

Abstract: This invention relates to a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material in which at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers thereof contains an 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole magenta coupler substituted in the third position by a group represented by the following Formula [I];--R.sub.1 --SO.sub.2 --R.sub.2 Formula [I]wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group having not less than 3 carbon atoms in the straight-chained portion thereof, which is capable of linking a --SO.sub.2 --R.sub.2 to the carbon atom in the third position of the nucleus of the 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole; and R.sub.2 represents an aryl group.The silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials of the invention are excellent in light-resistance of magenta dye images and also spectral absorption characteristics.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material that has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support is disclosed. Said silver halide emulsion layer contains at least one magenta coupler having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a tertiary alkyl group; R.sub.2 is a primary alkyl group; and X is a halogen atom.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed which has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, said silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one magenta coupler having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a tertiary alkyl group; R.sub.2 is a secondary or tertiary alkyl group; X is a leaving group other than a hydrogen atom that leaves upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a reflective support bearing thereon a green light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a t-alkyl 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-5-triazole magenta forming coupler represented by Formula (I) defined in the specification: a blue light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a t-butyl acylacetamide yellow-forming coupler represented by Formula (II) defined in the specification and a red light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a phenolic cyan-forming coupler represented by Formula (III) or (IV) defined in the specification.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material whose magenta dye-forming layer forms a magenta dye image having an absorption maximum from 550 nm to 560 nm and an advantageous absorption spectrum for color reproduction is provided by a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the at least one silver halide emulsion layer contains a 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole-type magenta coupler, and the above silver halide emulsion layer containing the magenta coupler and/or a silver halide emulsion layer having substantially the same color sensitivity as does the above silver halide emulsion layer containing the magenta coupler contains a pyrazolone-type magenta coupler.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed which has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, said silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one magenta coupler of formula (I) and at least one non-color forming phenolic compound: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl or aryl group; R.sub.2 is a monovalent group; R.sub.3 is an alkylene group; Y is a halogen atom, a hydroxy or alkyl group; Z is a group that can be eliminated upon coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent; X is a divalent bonding group or an alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; m is an integer of 0 to 4; and n is an integer of 0 to 5.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed. The material contains a photographic magenta coupler of formula (I) and a phenolic compound of formula (II) within a silver halide emulsion layer: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each an alkyl group or an aryl group; Z is a hydrogen atom or a group that can be eliminated upon coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent); ##STR2## (wherein R.sub.3 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group or an amino group; R.sub.4 is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom; s is an integer of 0 to 2, provided that when s is 2, R.sub.4 may be the same or different).
