  • Patent number: 7078080
Abstract: A synthetic resin container according to the invention has a craze pattern on the outer surface of its body. The container comprises an inner layer that comes into direct contact with content during its storage, an outer layer laid over the inner layer, and a translucent protective layer laid over the outer layer. The outer layer carries a craze pattern that has been obtained by applying a solvent to a preform or parison of the container after blow molding thereof. The protective layer covers and protects that portion of the outer layer, which carries the craze pattern, and preserves its visibility from outside.

  • Patent number: 7048540
Abstract: A air-driven cutting device for medical treatment (a handpiece (10)) comprises a housing (18) for a head portion (14). The housing (18) accommodates a rotary cylinder (60) for holding a cylindrical cutting tool (46) inserted through the tool inlet (42) of the housing, and a turbine blade (62) mounted around and secured on the rotary cylinder. With this arrangement, a compressed air is blown onto the turbine blade to rotate the turbine blade, the rotor and the cutting tool. Particularly, a part or a whole of the end portion of the rotary cylinder in the vicinity of the tool inlet is covered with the cover section (42) of the housing. Therefore, the rotary cylinder does not contact the teeth or the tissues of the buccal cavity.

  • Publication number: 20060060775
Abstract: A technology capable of reducing the influence of the noise overlapped in a long transmission line when accurately measuring weak beam current in an electron beam writing system and capable of accurately and efficiently measuring weak beam current in a beam writing system using multiple beams is provided. With using a switch for connecting and disconnecting an electron beam detecting device and a detected signal line, the electron beam detecting device is disconnected from the detected signal line to accumulate the detected signals in the electron beam detecting device during the beam current measurement. Simultaneously with the finish of the measurement, the electron beam detecting device and the detected signal line are connected to measure the accumulated signals. Also, in order to simultaneously perform the measurement method, a plurality of electron beam detecting devices and switches are used to simultaneously measure a plurality of electron beams with high accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20060011869
Abstract: In an electron-beam lithography system for performing a pattern drawing by causing electron beams to be switched ON/OFF at a high speed in an exposure/non-exposure portion, non-straight line property of beam shot dosage relative to beam ON time worsens dimension accuracy of the drawing pattern formed on a sample. In order to avoid this drawback, the characteristic of the beam shot dosage relative to the beam ON time is measured in advance, thereby creating correction data for the beam ON time beforehand. Then, at the time of performing the pattern drawing, the beam ON time is corrected based on the correction data so that desired beam shot dosage becomes acquirable.

  • Publication number: 20050231494
Abstract: In a display, a first liquid crystal panel has gate bus lines, source bus lines, TFTs, and pixel electrodes, as well as a source driver. A second liquid crystal panel has gate bus lines, source bus lines, TFTs, and pixel electrodes. The source bus lines of the second liquid crystal panel are connected to the associated source bus lines of the first liquid crystal panel through switching TFTs. The source bus lines of the second liquid crystal panel are briefly and repeatedly fed with a predetermined potential when the switching TFTs are off. The invention reduces power consumption of dual panel structure displays and prevents occurrence of an unintended display on the second display panel which is not expected to produce any display.

  • Publication number: 20050179640
Abstract: The sub panel 100, having a plurality of gate bus lines 14, source bus lines 16, TFTs 25 and pixel electrodes, is provided with a source driver 15. The main panel 200 has a plurality of gate bus lines 24, source bus lines 16, TFTs 25 and pixel electrodes, each of the source bus lines 16 being connected to the corresponding source bus lines 16 of the first liquid crystal panel 10 through a switching TFT 17. The main panel 200, sharing the source driver 15 with the first liquid crystal panel 10, is less frequently used for display than the first liquid crystal panel 10, and is disconnected by the switching TFT 17 when only the sub panel 100 is used. This makes it possible to device a twin-panel display device low in electric power consumption.

  • Patent number: 6423228
Abstract: A calcium carbonate mineral is placed in a lower portion of a second water tank, while sludge precipitated in a sixth water tank is returned to an upper portion. A blower and an air diffusion pipe weakly aerate the lower portion. Thus, an unreacted chemical sludge zone is formed in the upper portion of the second water tank. As a result, the second water tank can execute a primary treatment of fluorine in a waste water by the calcium carbonate mineral, a secondary treatment of fluorine and a primary treatment of phosphor by unreacted chemicals, treatment of surface active agent by microorganisms in a return sludge and reduction treatment of hydrogen peroxide by anaerobic microorganisms in the return sludge. The unreacted chemicals are thus reused, so that the amount of generation of waste can be reduced and concurrently the treatment can be executed with energy conservation.
