  • Patent number: 11758556
Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to dynamically configuring sounding reference signal (SRS) resources are provided. In some aspects, a base station may measure a SRS transmission transmitted by a user equipment (UE) and receive, using a receive beam selected based on the measuring, a transmission from the UE. In some aspects, a UE may transmit a SRS transmission; and receive, from the BS, a downlink control information (DCI) message including a SRS resource indicator (SRI) for use by the UE in selecting a beam to transmit to the BS. The SRS transmission may be transmitted using a SRS resource and may have a SRS parameter that is indicated in or related to a triggering message, or related to a transmission parameter of a communication between the BS and the UE.

  • Patent number: 11758551
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may dynamically cancel and reschedule configured transmission occasions for communicating with a user equipment (UE). The transmission occasions may be configured according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration (e.g., for downlink transmissions) or a configured grant (CG) configuration (e.g., for uplink transmissions). The base station may transmit a dynamic grant to the UE that indicates a cancellation of a transmission occasion and schedules a dynamic transmission occasion for communicating data scheduled for transmission at the canceled transmission occasion. In some examples, the cancellation in the grant may be explicit or implicit.

  • Patent number: 11751231
Abstract: A UE may receive, from a base station, a first and second configurations of first and second periodic resources, receive, from the base station, a metric for switching between the first and second configurations, and switching from the first configuration to the second configuration based on the metric received from the base station. The first and second configurations may be CG of uplink resources for uplink channels. The first and second configurations may indicate SPS resources for downlink channels. • Publication number: 20230275802
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for radio link failure recovery and beam failure recovery on a secondary cell group (SCG) in dormancy state. In an example, a user equipment (UE) may determine the UE has entered a dormant state with respect to the SCG of a secondary node (SN) having a primary SCG cell (PSCell). The UE may monitor the PSCell to detect a beam failure or a radio link failure while the UE is in the dormant state with respect to the SCG. The UE may transmit, to the SN, a report based on the beam failure or the radio link failure on the PSCell being detected.

  • Patent number: 11728865
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine whether a flag is enabled or is disabled, the flag indicating whether channel state information (CSI) associated with a secondary discontinuous reception (DRX) group is permitted to be transmitted outside of an active time associated with a primary DRX group. The UE may selectively transmit the CSI associated with the secondary DRX group in an uplink communication associated with the primary DRX group based at least in part on whether the flag is enabled or is disabled. • Patent number: 11711806
Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for using downlink control information (DCI) to avoid hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID) conflicts in scenarios where multiple semi persistently scheduled (SPS) configurations share the same pool of HARQ process IDs are provided. One example technique involves a user equipment (UE) receiving an indication of a plurality of SPS configurations, each SPS configuration allocating the UE with a set of SPS occasions for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. Information for resolving a conflict between a first HARQ process ID associated with a first SPS occasion of a first of the plurality of SPS configurations and a second HARQ process ID associated with a second SPS occasion of a second of the plurality of SPS configurations is received. The first SPS occasion occurs prior to the second SPS occasion. The conflict is resolved based on the information.
