  • Publication number: 20130258574
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for providing customized thermal control data structures. The default thermal control data structure is typically stored in a first storage device of the IOS module of the information processing system. A custom thermal control data structure is stored on a second storage device that is separately updatable from the first storage device. The thermal cooling module that provides cooling for the information processing system is directed to use the custom thermal control data structure for cooling components of the information processing system.

  • Publication number: 20130261836
Abstract: Described is a technology by which two or more air moving devices have some of their control lines combined, including a frequency control line from a controller. Along with the combined frequency control line, power voltage lines and ground lines and may be combined, with a separate sensing line for each air moving device. One or more couplers couples the combined lines to air moving device control circuitry.

  • Publication number: 20060016751
Abstract: A process for separating organic components from a pulp mill waste stream comprising the steps of washing a cellulose pulp to obtain an aqueous extraction liquor containing organic components, and separating at least a portion of said organic components from the extraction liquor by passing the extraction liquor through at least one nanofiltration membrane. The process may be used in conjunction with a variety of pulp mill processes, including kraft cooking processes, hot caustic extraction processes, sulfite cooking processes, and bleaching processes.

  • Patent number: 5652412
Abstract: An information recording system includes a writing paper having a writing surface and a prerecorded invisible pattern of pixels associated with the writing surface. Each of the pixels contains encoded, optically readable position information which identifies a coordinate position on the writing surface. The system further includes a pen having a tip and including an instrument for writing on the writing surface and a detector for detecting the position of the tip on the writing surface by optically reading the pixels and obtaining position information when the tip is in contact with the surface. The system further includes a recording unit coupled to the pen and responsive to the position information for electronically recording the position of the pen tip on the writing surface as the markings are made on the writing surface so that the recording unit contains an electronic representation of the markings on the writing surface.
