The system performs operations including receiving a video that includes a depiction of one or more real-world objects in a real-world environment and obtaining depth data related to the real-world environment. The operations include generating a three-dimensional (3D) model of the real-world environment based on the video and the depth data and adding an augmented reality (AR) item to the video based on the 3D model of the real-world environment. Abstract: Users of personalized messaging systems can encounter message fatigue, thereby reducing the efficacy of a message on its intended recipient. Message fatigue can result in wasted computational resources and bandwidth as messages transmitted over a network to the user's client device are not acted upon at the client device. For applications involving desired user interactions and responses, personalized messaging can be a tool to achieve user engagement targets. The systems and methods presented herein may address several of the technical challenges with personalized messaging.

Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a body component and a wing element pivotably coupled to the body component such that the wing element pivots relative to the body component about a pivot axis between a neutral starting position and a first pivot position. A control device of the motor vehicle detects an impending collision of the motor vehicle with a collision object located in the surroundings of the motor vehicle. Upon detecting the impending collision, the control device automatically pivots the wing element toward the body component from the neutral starting position to the first pivot position. The control device of the motor vehicle evaluates a severity of the collision and, depending upon the severity, automatically pivots the wing element away from the body component from the first pivot position to the neutral starting position.

The transfer chamber can include a first magnetic levitation track having a face-up orientation and a second magnetic levitation track spaced from the first magnetic levitation track and having a face-down orientation. The system can include substrate carriers that move along the first and second magnetic levitation tracks where each substrate carrier includes a magnet on a bottom portion to interact with a first magnetic field and a second magnet on a top portion to interact with a second magnetic field. The system also can include at least one lift pin assembly to move the substrate carriers in a vertical direction between the first and second magnetic levitation tracks.

Abstract: Catheters are presented herein having planar end effectors of various configurations, generally providing a two-sided and multi-layered platform for electrodes and sensors. In some examples, the end effector has a support frame (e.g. nitinol) between a pair of flexible circuits. The end effector can also include a polymer (e.g. silicone, LCP, etc.) between the flexible circuits and encapsulating the support frame. This platform facilitates positioning of electrodes on either side (including both sides) of the end effector in a variety of spacings and facilitates ultra-tight electrode spacing and/or a large area electrode. Sensors (ultrasound transducers, navigation coils, etc.) can be layered within the end effector between outer surfaces of the flexible circuits in a variety of configurations.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an article of luggage that is configured to be conveniently rolled or wheeled about when in use as well as readily stored when empty and not in use. The luggage has wheels that are placed on the back side of the luggage, such that in use the luggage is wheeled about in a horizontal position. This position also provides use of the luggage as a cart for additional luggage or items that can be placed or stacked on the luggage while horizontal. The telescopic handle that is mounted in the back of the luggage is rotatable to an upward position when fully extended, to allow a user to ready pull and/or push the horizontal luggage. The luggage further has sides that are compressible/collapsible when not in use, to allow the height of the luggage to be reduced and therefore easier to store by occupying less space than the full size, fully expanded luggage. In addition, the luggage optionally has one or more outlets for charging portable electronic devices.
