Abstract: Cutting a workpiece and producing workpiece parts are disclosed. The device has a cutting head with laser beam optics with a dynamic laser beam movement unit. A cutting head movement unit moves the laser beam over the workpiece. A control unit has a determination module to determine a movement trajectory of the laser beam, a memory unit from which at least one predetermined parameter selected from a movement parameter of the cutting head movement unit, a movement parameter of the laser beam movement unit and a parameter of a deviation of a cut contour from a predetermined contour is retrievable, and an optimization module for adjusting the movement trajectory by overlaying the movement of the laser beam via the cutting head with a high frequency beam-shaping movement of the laser beam via the laser beam movement unit based on the at least one predetermined parameter.

  • Publication number: 20240037858
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system for providing AR experiences. The system accesses, by a messaging application, an image depicting a real-world fashion item of a user and generates a three-dimensional (3D) virtual fashion item based on the real-world fashion item depicted in the image. The system stores the 3D virtual fashion item in a database that includes a virtual wardrobe comprising a plurality of 3D virtual fashion items associated with the user. The system generates, by the messaging application, an augmented reality (AR) experience that allows the user to interact with the virtual wardrobe.

Abstract: An Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) system may include a plurality of ADS-B terrestrial stations, with each ADS-B terrestrial station comprising an antenna and wireless circuitry associated therewith defining a station gain pattern. The system may further include a controller including a variational autoencoder (VAE) configured to compress station pattern data from the plurality of ADS-B terrestrial stations, create a normal distribution of the compressed data in a latent space of the VAE, and decompress the compressed station pattern data from the latent space. The controller may also include a processor coupled to the VAE and configured to process the decompressed station pattern data using a probabilistic model selected from among different probabilistic models based upon a game theoretic reward matrix, determine an anomaly from the processed decompressed station pattern data, and generate an alert (e.g., a station specific alert) based upon the determined anomaly.

  • Patent number: 11883093
Abstract: A method, consisting of modeling physical parameters representative of a probe in proximity to body tissue during an ablation procedure performed by the probe. The method also includes measuring a subgroup of the physical parameters during a non-ablation stage of the ablation procedure so as to generate measured non-ablative values of the subgroup, and measuring the subgroup of the physical parameters during an ablation stage of the ablation procedure so as to generate measured ablative values of the subgroup. In response to the modeling, the method includes generating calculated non-ablative values of the subgroup for the non-ablation stage, and generating calculated ablative values of the subgroup for the ablation stage. The method compares the measured non-ablative values with the calculated non-ablative values, and compares the measured ablative values with the calculated ablative values, so as generate optimal values of the physical parameters.

  • Patent number: 11886599
Abstract: A technology to identify processing paths of untrusted input data received by applications that are vulnerable to attacks and to further detect and prevent actual attacks that try to exploit those vulnerabilities is disclosed. Application code is augmented at run-time with sensor code which detects the entry of input-data into the application and further traces the propagation, manipulation and, sanitization of this input-data until its usage in a data sink. The so generated data-flow traces reveal data-flow paths that lack required sanitization measures to neutralize potentially harmful input-data. Such data-flow paths are reported as vulnerabilities. Further, input-data that reaches data-sink interfaces is scanned by data-sink sensors to identify harmful input data. On identification of harmful input data, an attack is reported, and countermeasures are applied to prevent the identified attack.

  • Patent number: 11887260
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system for presenting augmented reality (AR) items. The system performs operations including receiving a video that includes a depiction of a real-world environment and generating a 3D model of the real-world environment based on the video. The operations include determining, based on the 3D model of the real-world environment, that an AR item has been placed in the video at a particular 3D position and identifying a portion of the 3D model corresponding to the real-world environment currently being displayed on a screen. The operations include determining that the 3D position of the AR item is excluded from the portion of the 3D model currently being displayed on the screen and in response, displaying an indicator that identifies the 3D position of the AR item in the 3D model relative to the portion of the 3D model currently being displayed on a screen.

  • Patent number: 11889023
Abstract: A telephone subnet crawler is used to access automated telephone response systems and index the information, contents and structure contained therein. A database of the information, contents and structure of a plurality of automated telephone response systems is created by the telephone subnet crawler. A user interface provides a waiting party with direct access to the information, contents and structure of the automated telephone response systems contained in the database. Where an automated telephone response system requires user input, the user interface calls the automated telephone response system and navigates to the node requiring user input, provides the user input and displays the results to the user. Where an automated telephone response system connects to an operator, the user interface calls the automated telephone response system, navigates to the node for an operator, and when an operator is detected, calls the user at a user provided callback number.
