  • Patent number: 12282058
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) comprising a time-to-digital converter (TDC) configured to measure an input-to-output delay of an I/O buffer of a pad the IC, the measured delay reflecting a connection impedance of the pad. A circuit in the IC, or a computer in communication with the IC, determines electrical connection integrity of the pad based on the measured delay of the I/O buffer.

  • Patent number: 12275784
Abstract: Described herein are engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies with modified amino acid sequences. The engineered antibodies would confer modified receptor binding specificity to an IL-2-anti-IL2 antibody complex, inhibiting the binding of IL-2 to CD25. The engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies would facilitate expansion of subsets of effector immune cells and decrease undesirable effects caused by IL-2. Thus, the engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies would be useful in treating disease such as cancer and infection.

  • Patent number: 12277504
Abstract: Techniques for training and using machine learning models for resource-level classification. A method for training includes refining outputs of a language model by providing a prompt and a set of sample resources to the language model over a series of iterations. Accuracies for the classifications output by the language model at each iteration are determined based on semantic similarity between those classifications and corresponding reference classifications for the sample resources. The language model is applied to data of a set of training resources when the outputs of the language model have been refined, in order to output a set of classifications for the set of training resources. Training data is labeled based on the set of classifications output by the language model. A classifier machine learning model is trained via supervised machine learning using the set of labeled training data in order to produce a trained classifier machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20250108217
Abstract: Alternating electric fields (e.g., tumor treating fields or TTFields) can be applied to a subject's body using electrode assemblies that are made from two discrete subassemblies, which are removably and adhesively connectable to each other. As long as the two subassemblies remain in intimate contact (which can be determined, e.g., by measuring an electrical resistance or an optical reflectance), the system applies an AC voltage to the electrode assemblies. But if (a) the subassemblies within any given electrode assembly become separated (or even begin to separate), or (b) the subassemblies within any given electrode assembly are not aligned correctly, then the system will turn off the AC voltage to that electrode assembly.

  • Publication number: 20250108227
Abstract: Alternating electric fields (e.g., Tumor Treating Fields or TTFields) can be applied to a subject's body using an apparatus (e.g., a transducer array) that includes a first PCB that has metal pads for coupling an AC signal into the subject's body at high currents, and a second, less expensive PCB that can only handle lower currents. The first PCB is located at a central portion of the apparatus, and the second PCB is located at a peripheral portion of the apparatus. Temperature sensors (e.g., thermistors) are electrically connected to the second PCB. In some embodiments, the second PCB is significantly larger than the first PCB.

  • Publication number: 20250111570
Abstract: A media application receives a set of images that include a source image and a target image, the source image and the target image including at least a subject. The media application determines whether to use one or more editors selected from a group of a head editor, a face editor, or combinations thereof. Responsive to determining to use the head editor, the media application generates a compositive image by replacing at least a portion of head pixels associated with a target head of the subject in the target image with head pixels from a source head of the subject in the source image and replacing neck pixels associated with a target neck and shoulder pixels associated with target shoulders that include an area between the target head and a target torso with an interpolated region that is generated from an interpolation of the source image and the target image.

  • Patent number: 12257425
Abstract: The disclosure relates to devices and methods for the treatment of edema using a purge-free system. The invention provides devices and methods useful for treating edema by means of an indwelling catheter that is placed in a blood vessel of a patient and used to pump blood to cause a decrease in pressure at an outlet of a lymphatic duct. The catheter pumps blood by means of an impeller but is purge-free in that the catheter does not include a system for purging or flushing catheter components with a purge fluid. The purge-free catheter avoids blood-related mechanical complications such as clotting or thrombosis by means of an impermeable sleeve or shroud that protects moving parts of the impeller drive system.

  • Patent number: 12248373
Abstract: A data storage device and method for enhanced recovery through data storage device discrete-component-hardware-reset are provided. In one embodiment, the data storage device determines that a subset of a plurality of memory dies is non-responsive, sends a request to a host to accept longer delays associated with the subset of the plurality of memory dies, power-cycles the subset of the plurality of memory dies, and then informs the host that the latency associated with those dies has been restored to normal latency or that the subset of the plurality of memory dies are inactive (in case of unsuccessful recovery). Other embodiments are possible, and each of the embodiments can be used alone or together in combination.

  • Publication number: 20250077913
Abstract: An online system improves the development and deployment of LLM-based applications providing offering an application workflow user interface to developers of these applications. The application workflow UI is a user interface that includes different sections for the efficient design of a workflow and logic for an application operating on the online system. The application workflow UI allows the user to generate UI elements for stages within the overall application workflow and connect those stages through a simple to use interface. The application workflow UI improves the development process of LLM-based applications by allowing the user to set parameters for stages that involve prompting an LLM through the same interface. Specifically, the application workflow UI includes a parameters section that allows the user to specify parameters for prompting the LLM.

  • Publication number: 20250021429
Abstract: During data storage device operation, data of multiple blocks of a non-volatile memory device, logically grouped as a jumboblock, may be protected by an exclusive or (XOR) signature, where the XOR signature may be used to recover data of a block of the multiple blocks. During a recovery/relocation operation, data of the jumboblock is read from the non-volatile memory device during the recovery of the lost data and again when the data is relocated. However, because the data read during data storage device operation is temporarily stored in a volatile memory device, the controller utilizes the relevant data stored in the volatile memory device and the data stored in the non-volatile memory device to recover corrupted data. Thus, the amount of reads from the non-volatile memory device decreases due to the relevant data is read from the volatile memory device, which may improve data storage device performance.
