  • Patent number: 11851485
Abstract: Described herein are engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies with modified amino acid sequences. The engineered antibodies would confer modified receptor binding specificity to an IL-2-anti-IL2 antibody complex, inhibiting the binding of IL-2 to CD25. The engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies would facilitate expansion of subsets of effector immune cells and decrease undesirable effects caused by IL-2. Thus, the engineered anti-IL-2 antibodies would be useful in treating disease such as cancer and infection.

  • Patent number: 11847343
Abstract: A host sends a storage system a command to read data from a memory and then a command to write the data back to the memory to defragment the data. The host sends flags along with the commands. The flag sent with the read command causes the storage system to take a snapshot of the logical-to-physical address map relevant to the data. The flag sent with the write command causes the storage system to compare the snapshot with the current version of the logical-to-physical address map and write the data back to the memory only if there is a match.

  • Patent number: 11837277
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to improved foggy-fine programming. Rather than initially writing to SLC and then later performing a foggy write to QLC with the data read from SLC and then a fine write to QLC with data re-read from SLC, the foggy write to QLC can be performed in parallel to the initial writing to SLC using the same buffer. Once the foggy write to QLC has completed, and the writing to SLC has also completed, the data buffer can be released. The data written in SLC is then be read from SLC and passes through a relocation buffer for the first and only time to then be written using fine programming to QLC. Thus, the data only passes through the relocation buffer one time and the relocation buffer can be freed to usage after only one pass of the data therethrough.

  • Publication number: 20230364412
Abstract: The disclosure relates to devices and methods for the treatment of edema using a purge-free system. The invention provides devices and methods useful for treating edema by means of an indwelling catheter that is placed in a blood vessel of a patient and used to pump blood to cause a decrease in pressure at an outlet of a lymphatic duct. The catheter pumps blood by means of an impeller but is purge-free in that the catheter does not include a system for purging or flushing catheter components with a purge fluid. The purge-free catheter avoids blood-related mechanical complications such as clotting or thrombosis by means of an impermeable sleeve or shroud that protects moving parts of the impeller drive system.

  • Publication number: 20230359811
Abstract: Techniques for obtaining electronic signatures via word processing applications are described. One approach utilizes a code module, also referred to as a “markup module,” that executes within a word processing application and that facilitates the preparation of a document for electronic signature. A user can operate the word processing application together with the markup module in order to add signature tag markers to the document and to provide recipient information about intended signers, such as names and email addresses. Once the document has been prepared, the code module transmits the document (including the added signature tag markers) and the recipient information to a digital transaction service. The digital transaction service then manages the signing of the document, such as by notifying the recipient, receiving the recipient's signature and securely storing the signature in association with the document.

  • Patent number: 11809736
Abstract: A storage system determines a memory fragmentation level for each of a plurality of logical block address ranges. The memory fragmentation level for a given logical block address range is determined according to the number of memory senses required to read that logical block address range in its current state of fragmentation and the number of memory senses required to read that logical block address range assuming no fragmentation. The memory fragmentation level correlates to the sequential read performance for that logical block address range in that an increase in the memory fragmentation level results in a decrease in sequential read performance.

  • Publication number: 20230347113
Abstract: The disclosure relates to devices and methods for the treatment of edema that uses an impeller with a balloon that may be mounted on the impeller housing. The invention provides devices and methods for treatment of edema that use an indwelling catheter with an impeller to lower pressure at an outlet of a lymphatic duct and a balloon on the impeller to guide and to restrict blood flow. The balloon restricts return flow from the jugular and guides that flow into the impeller cage. By funneling the flow into the impeller cage, a rate of flow down the vessel may be increased, resulting in a lateral pressure decrease effecting the lymphatic outlet. Because the lymphatic outlet is subject to a pressure decrease, fluids in the lymphatic system drain to the outlet and into the circulatory system.

  • Publication number: 20230347115
Abstract: The disclosure relates to devices and methods for the treatment of edema, which devices use a restrictor for flow compensation. Devices and methods of the invention further use a flow-restrictor in the circulatory system, upstream of an intravascular pump, to balance pressure changes induced by the pump and to compensate for downstream flow. The device may be provided as an indwelling, intravascular catheter with a mechanical pump such as an impeller and a selectively deployable restrictor such as an inflatable balloon. Congestive heart failure or edema is treated by\operating the pump in an innominate vein and using the restrictor for flow compensation, to restrict the upstream flow and thus amplify or maintain pressure reduction at the lymphatic outlet.

  • Patent number: 11789612
Abstract: For a non-volatile memory system with a multi-plane memory die having a large block size, to be able to more readily accommodate zone-based host data using zones that are of a smaller size that the block size on the memory, the memory system assigns data from different zones to different subsets of the planes of a common memory die. The memory system is configured to accumulate the data from the different zones into different write queues and then assemble the data from the different write zones into pages or partial pages of data that can be simultaneously programmed into memory cells connected to different word lines that are in different sub-blocks of different blocks in the corresponding assigned planes of the die.

  • Publication number: 20230325998
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a personalized prior within a generative model's latent vector space based on a set of images of a given subject. In some examples, the present technology may further include using the personalized prior to confine the inputs of a generative model to a latent vector space associated with the given subject, such that when the model is tasked with editing an image of the subject (e.g., to perform inpainting to fill in masked areas, improve resolution, or deblur the image), the subject's identifying features will be reflected in the images the model produces.

  • Publication number: 20230313222
Abstract: The current disclosure provides methods for reprogramming mammalian somatic cells by regulating the expression of endogenous cellular genes. Cellular reprogramming of somatic cells can be induced by activating the transcription of embryonic stem cell-associated genes (e.g., oct3/4) and suppressing the transcription of somatic cell-specific and/or cell death-associated genes. The endogenous transcription machinery can be modulated using synthetic transcription factors (activators and suppressors), to allow for faster, and more efficient nuclear reprogramming under conditions amenable for clinical and commercial applications. The current disclosure further provides cells obtained from such methods, along with therapeutic methods for using such cells for the treatment of diseases amendable to stem cell therapy, as well as kits for such uses.
