  • Patent number: 11967230
Abstract: A method and system for traffic control includes receiving at a processing unit sensor data of a site on a road network and receiving at the processing unit a V2X communication. Locations of road users are calculated from the sensor data and the V2X communication enabling the detection of connected and non-connected road users. Once connected and non-connected road users are detected at a site, this information can be used to control traffic.

  • Publication number: 20240129569
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining if end-users are expected to be receiving transmissions from a multimedia network at a particular time. Data including end-user type, a multimedia network, a particular time slot of the repeating cycles, and a network reach descriptor may be received. End-users may be identified by end-user type. For each end-user, a probability of receiving transmissions from the multimedia network during time slots prior to the particular time slot may be determined, based on previous viewing activities. Each probability may be adjusted by an offset such that an average of the adjusted probabilities corresponds to the network reach descriptor. A determination may be made of whether or not each end-user is expected to have been receiving transmissions from the multimedia network at the particular time slot, based on the adjusted respective probability.

  • Patent number: 11960481
Abstract: A storage control system receives a request to access target data and searches a primary metadata structure to find an associated metadata entry. The primary metadata structure comprises a log-structured merge tree comprising a first level of segments which comprises a group of segments having an associated group filter, and individual filters associated with respective segments of the group of segments. The storage control system searches the primary metadata structure by performing a lookup operation using the group filter to determine whether the associated metadata entry is potentially present in a given segment of the group of segments, and performing a lookup operation using the individual filters to identify the given segment of the group of segments which potentially includes the metadata entry, when the metadata entry is determined to be potentially present in a given segment of group of segments, using the group filter.
