  • Publication number: 20230269256
Abstract: A method, including collecting, by a security server, reports from multiple computing devices of events belonging to a set of specified event types occurring in execution of software processes on the devices, and collating the reports in the server to extract context information with respect to each of the events. Upon detecting an event occurring in execution of a process on a given device and matching one of the types, a software agent executing on the given device extracts, one or more features from the detected event, and conveys a query with respect to the detected event from the agent to the server. Upon receiving, from the server in response to the query, the context information with respect to the detected event, the agent decides to initiate a protective action on the given device based on the received context information and the one or more features extracted by the agent.

  • Publication number: 20230261526
Abstract: New systems for the wireless recharging of the batteries of game controllers, without the need for placing the game controller on a dedicated charging device such as an inductively coupled charging pad or its charging docking station. Wireless charging can continue even when the gaming controllers are being moved, when in use during the gaming session, and certainly when the controller is left by the user in some random location in the area in which the system is installed. A transmitter beams optical power, such as a laser beam, to an optical power receiver located on the controller itself, which, using a photovoltaic cell and an appropriate voltage converter, converts the optical beam power to a current for charging the battery. A beam aiming mechanism, such as a scanning mirror, is provided to ensure correct tracking of the game controller, according to the outputs of a beam tracking application.

  • Patent number: 11727471
Abstract: The invention provides methods and apparatus for detecting when an online session is compromised. A plurality of device fingerprints may be collected from a user computer that is associated with a designated Session ID. A server may include pages that are delivered to a user for viewing in a browser at which time device fingerprints and Session ID information are collected. By collecting device fingerprints and session information at several locations among the pages delivered by the server throughout an online session, and not only one time or at log-in, a comparison between the fingerprints in association with a Session ID can identify the likelihood of session tampering and man-in-the middle attacks.

  • Publication number: 20230252632
Abstract: Methods for automated identification of vascular features are described. In some embodiments, one or more machine learning (ML)-based vascular classifiers are used, with their results being combined to with results of at least one other vascular classifier in order to produce the final results. Potentially advantages of this approach include the ability to combine certain strengths of ML classifiers with segmentation approaches based on more classical (“formula-based”) methods. These strengths may include particularly the identification of anatomically identified targets mixed within an image also showing similar looking but anatomically distinct targets.

  • Patent number: 11722226
Abstract: A fail-safe wireless power transmission system having a transmitter, a receiver, a receiver functionality monitor unit, a transmitter functionality monitor unit and at least two sensors. The transmitter has at least one low emission state, and at least one high emission state, the high emission states having higher emissions and more complex safety systems. The transmitter may be precluded from switching from a low emission state to any high emission states upon detection of a receiver control unit malfunction, a transmitter control unit malfunction, a likelihood of human-accessible emission from the system greater than a predetermined level, or an inconsistency between results arising from at least two of the sensors. Two different methods of such preclusion may be used simultaneously or consecutively to improve reliability. A transmitter control unit analyzes data from the sensors, and performs calculations to determine if and what type of preclusion is needed.

  • Publication number: 20230245124
Abstract: A system for annotating transactions includes a computing server configured to retrieve annotation requirements for transaction accounts of an organization client, where the annotation requirements specify a data field of a third-party platform's schema that is used to organize transaction data. The organization client may further specify which transactions need to be annotated using selection criteria. The computing server processes transactions incurred using the transaction accounts and identifies unannotated transactions using the selection criteria. End users who are responsible for annotating the unannotated transactions are provided direct links to annotate the unannotated transactions. Upon receiving annotations from the responsible end users, the computing server can display annotated transaction data for an administrator of the organization client.

  • Publication number: 20230246914
Abstract: According to examples, a processor may receive data pertaining to a communication sent over a network by a device, extract a set of characteristics associated with the communication from the received data, and determine whether the extracted set of characteristics meets a predefined similarity threshold with respect to a previously identified set of characteristics, in which the previously identified set of characteristics is assigned with a certain device type. The processor may also, based on a determination that the extracted set of characteristics meets the predefined similarity threshold with respect to the previously identified set of characteristics, assign the device with the certain device type.

  • Publication number: 20230236244
Abstract: In a quantum computer, quantum algorithms are performed by a qubit interacting with multiple quantum control pulses. The quantum control pulses are electromagnetic RF signals that are generated digitally at baseband and sent, via asynchronous ports, to DACs that feed an RF upconversion circuit. For synchronization, each asynchronous port is coupled to a multi-tap delay line. The setting of the multi-tap delay line is determined by a function of the port's setup-and-hold time. This function is trained, via machine learning, to be applicable across a variety of ports.

  • Publication number: 20230233836
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for manufacturing a housing for an impeller of a blood pump. A frame is treated in order to enhance bonding between an inner surface of the frame and an inner lining. Subsequently, the inner lining is coupled to the inner surface of the frame along at least a portion of a central cylindrical portion of the frame. Subsequent to coupling the inner lining to the inner surface of the frame along at least a portion of the central cylindrical portion of the frame, a portion of an elongate tube is placed around at least a portion of the frame. While heating the inner lining, the frame, and the portion of the elongate tube, pressure is applied such as to cause the portion of the elongate tube to become coupled to the frame. Other applications are also described.

  • Patent number: 11709941
Abstract: A modified measured boot approach is utilized for establishing a secure communication link between two devices. Each device may execute a respective boot process until the device reaches the stage responsible for establishing the communication link with the other device. Each device may exchange its respective self-signed certificate and extend its certificate chain with the self-signed certificate received from the other device. Each device can then generate a new pair of keys based on its extended certificate chain that includes the identity of the other device, and exchange the public key of the new key pair with the other device. A secure link can be established using the public key of the other device as a based key for a key exchange protocol. A central management entity can attest the measurements of the boot stages for each device using the corresponding public key.
