  • Patent number: 12047147
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications supporting techniques for enhanced line-of-sight (LOS) communications with analog multi-path beamforming are described. A first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, an indication of a capability of the second wireless device to concurrently transmit first signaling in a first analog beamforming direction using a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state corresponding to a LOS mode, and second signaling in a second analog beamforming direction using a second TCI state corresponding to an indirect LOS mode. The first wireless device may then receive, from the second wireless device, a first downlink message in the first analog beamforming direction using the first TCI state concurrently with a second downlink message in the second analog beamforming direction using the second TCI state.

  • Publication number: 20240242225
Abstract: The invention provides one or more consortia of networks that identify and share information about users and/or user devices interacting with the consortia. User devices may be identified, at least in part, by a delta of time parameter between a user device used and a reference time. Other parameters may be analyzed to identify a computer user and/or device and noteworthy transactions. The invention may be used for identity-based applications such as network security, the detection of fraudulent transactions, identity theft, ratings-based communities and law enforcement. User may be permitted to register user devices in order to control access for performing transactions.

  • Publication number: 20240243840
Abstract: In a probabilistic amplitude shaping (PAS) system, a distribution matching (DM) component may receive a uniform bit sequence with equal probabilities, which may be converted into symbols with a desired probability distribution (e.g., Gaussian). For example, the probability distribution may use inner constellation points associated with a lower energy and/or power more frequently and outer constellation points associated with a higher energy and/or power less frequently. In general, the DM component may map binary bits to positive amplitudes with a non-uniform distribution according to a DM rate that is based at least in part on a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), which may vary significantly in a spatial and frequency selective wireless channel. Accordingly, some aspects described herein relate to configuring DM parameters and codeword and resource mappings in a spatial and frequency selective wireless channel.

  • Publication number: 20240236064
Abstract: The invention provides one or more consortia of networks that identify and share information about users and/or user devices interacting with the consortia. User devices may be identified, at least in part, by tag-based computer information. Computers and other devices accessing the Web carry device tags with date and time information describing when they were issued by a security tag server. A server time stamp may be inserted into time based computer tags such as a cookies indicating when they were created. Such time stamp information can be encrypted and analyzed during future attempts to access a secure network such as a customer attempting to log into an online banking account. When the time stamp information from the tag is compared to other selected information about the user, device and/or account, including but not limited to last account log-in date/time or account creation date, the invention may be used to detect suspicious activity.

  • Publication number: 20240224007
Abstract: A travel system generates and provides content recommendations to a user of the travel system. The travel system identifies content categories that are likely to be of interest to the user of the travel system based on context characteristics of the user such as whether the user is a traveler or a local at a particular geographic location. Additionally, the travel system further identifies content objects (e.g., attractions, activities, events, restaurants, businesses, and the like) for each identified content category that are likely to be of interest to the user based on characteristics of each content object. The identified content categories and content objects are provided as content recommendations for display to a user of the travel system, enabling a user to quickly navigate between content categories and content objects within each content category.

  • Publication number: 20240223305
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a technique for parallel distribution matching (DM) encoding. A user equipment (UE) implements the technique to perform a first round of parallel DM encoding using k information bits as input by: 1) segmenting the k information bits into N blocks of information bits, and 2) encoding the N blocks of information bits in parallel with N DM blocks. Each of the N blocks outputs one or more encoded information bits in each of the NDM blocks, and a total number of information bits output by the N DM blocks is less than k. The UE then performs a second round of parallel DM encoding using k? information bits that were not encoded in the first round of DM encoding. The second round of parallel DM encoding includes a same encoding process as implemented in the first round of parallel DC encoding.

  • Publication number: 20240215759
Abstract: A multi-floor grill device with a plurality of working surface types arranged adjacent each other and interfacing each other to create stations for processing foodstuff in a grill device in a convenient way. Drip ducts or trays are relocated to a bottom floor beneath a top floor that accommodates the working surfaces. A plurality of gas burners are placed under a cooking grid and may be covered with heat plates with fins that interrupt solid residues falling off of cooked foodstuff on the grid from resting and accumulating on the plates. Working surfaces for processing the foodstuff before cooking are placed at the front of the top floor and made conveniently accessible to a user. These surfaces receive induced heat from the cooking grid that pre-warms the foodstuff before cooking and shortens its cooking time.

  • Publication number: 20240214256
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may perform distribution matching on at least a first subset of a set of bits, such as the bits of transport block. The distribution matching may include a variable-to-fixed (v2f) distribution matching procedure in which a ratio between a quantity of input bits to output interim symbols for the v2f distribution matching procedure is variable. The distribution matching include evaluating, after each instance of the v2f distribution matching procedure, whether additional bits remain for distribution matching, and if so, whether to perform an additional instance of the v2f distribution matching procedure or an alternative distribution matching procedure on the remaining bits. Corresponding techniques for a receiving device are also described, including distribution dematching techniques based on a v2f distribution dematching procedure.

  • Publication number: 20240212113
Abstract: A method for processing color images includes accessing a color image which uses a HSV color model where each pixel of the color image has a hue value, normalizing the hue value of each pixel to a normalized hue value, determining a first median as a median of the normalized hue values, re-coloring the normalized hue values of each pixel based on enlarging hue ranges within a range of a particular hue to provide re-colored hue values, determining a second median as a median of the re-colored hue values, shifting the re-colored hue values for each pixel based on a difference between the first median and the second median to provide shifted hue values, and de-normalizing the shifted hue values for each pixel to provide a processed color image.

  • Publication number: 20240207820
Abstract: Herein disclosed are compositions, methods, and systems useful for treating PFAS- contaminated adsorbents to simultaneously achieve mineralization of adsorbed per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances and regenerate the adsorbent materials to enable re-use of the materials. This is accomplished by applying subcritical hydrothermal reaction conditions together with solution amendments to promote PFAS destruction while minimizing alterations of the adsorbent materials. The process requires much lower energy input than existing thermal disposal or regeneration technologies. The milder liquid phase treatment conditions allow for treatment and regeneration of a wider range of adsorbent materials being deployed for PFAS treatment.

  • Publication number: 20240201985
Abstract: A continuous integration (CI) pipeline can be executed based on a type of content for a change to source code. For example, a computing system can receive the change to the source code of a software application in response to a request for changing the source code being generated. The computing system can identify the type of content included in the change to the source code. Specifically, the computing system can determine whether the type of content is associated with a prevention of an execution of the CI pipeline. In response, the computing system can perform an action associated with the change to the source code prior to a deployment of the change to the source code.
