  • Patent number: 4373187
Abstract: In a fuel control method data used to control the amount of the fuel supply in the previous cycle is corrected in response to the output of an O.sub.2 sensor in a current cycle, and added to or subtracted from the corrected data value as the difference between a value derived from data stored in a map based on the output of a vacuum sensor and engine rotation speed in the previous cycle and a value derived from the data stored in the map based on the output of the vacuum sensor and engine rotation speed in the current cycle. The sum or difference is used as current control data.

  • Patent number: 4363307
Abstract: An engine control system with a microcomputer is disclosed which controls the amount of fuel injection of a spark ignition engine having a fuel injection system. In each intake process of a cylinder of the engine, a regular fuel injection is effected. An acceleration fuel injection is effected only once in each interval of said regular fuel injection in the case where the task actuated in predetermined cycles regardless of the engine rotational speed decides that the engine is in an accelerated condition.

  • Patent number: 4296722
Abstract: A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine in which a plurality of sensors are provided to detect operating conditions of the engine and the detected signals are converted into digital signals for the arithmetic operation executed in a central processor. This apparatus includes a register for storing data supplied from the central processor, a counter for counting up pulses produced each time the engine rotates a fixed crank angle, and a comparator for producing an output when a count value of the counter becomes equal to or greater than the data set in the register. A logic circuit is provided to produce a control pulse on the basis of the output of the comparator for the control of fuel injection. Upon the detection of conditions to correct the quantity of fuel injected into the engine, such as during acceleration, the data to be set into the register is changed.

  • Patent number: 4274142
Abstract: In a detecting apparatus for indicating engine revolutions or vehicle speed, a counter is provided to count up, for a predetermined period of time, the number of pulses produced by an angle sensor. To improve the accuracy of the measurement, the time width during which the pulses are counted can be varied in accordance with a rotational speed of the engine. In this way, a larger measurement time period is provided at lower speeds than at higher speeds.

  • Patent number: 4152618
Abstract: A light-emitting display device comprising a light-emitting element, a substrate on which the light-emitting element is disposed, a reflector for reflecting the light from the light-emitting element, and a light diffusing film disposed apart from the light-emitting element for dispersing the light. The light diffusing film consists of a light diffusing part of a fibriform light diffusing material and a transparent part.

  • Patent number: 3998739
Abstract: An apparatus for filtration comprises a filtration column having an inner cylindrical compartment and an outer jacket compartment disposed in such a relationship that the outer jacket compartment encloses the inner cylindrical compartment and the space interposed between the inner cylindrical compartment and the outer jacket compartment is filled with a granular substance as filtering material to form a filter bed, a means for feeding a liquid subjected to treatment to said filtration column and a means for discharging the treated liquid from the filtration column, a washing column adapted to wash the filtering granules which have served the purpose of filtering the said liquid the filtration column and a means for circulating said filtering granules between said filtration column and the washing column and also allowing the granular filtering material to fill said space so as to form a new filter bed within the filtration column.

  • Patent number: 3997907
Abstract: A light emitting gallium phosphide device comprising a gallium phosphide (GaP) substrate of one conductivity type and at least one GaP layer of the opposite conductivity type formed on said substrate so as to form a P-N junction, wherein, the GaP layer, when impressed with forward voltage, forms light emitting regions, as viewed from above; and a light absorbing layer prepared from noncrystalline (amorphous) or polycrystalline silicon is mounted on at least one plane selected from the group consisting of the back side of the GaP substrate, those portions of the surface of the GaP substrate on which the GaP layer is not formed and the other portions of the surface of the GaP layer than the light emitting regions thereof, thereby attaining a very favorably acceptable monolithic display in high luminance and distinct contrast.
