  • Publication number: 20110268277
Abstract: A communication system for solving a problem, in which secure communications security cannot be ensured in communications between a femtocell base station and UE, is provided. The communication system includes UE (User Equipment) and an HLR (Home Location Register) used in an IMS (IP Multimedia subsystem) network and a femtocell base station (Femto AP) that constructs a predetermined communication area. The femtocell base station exists between the UE and the HLR, acquires a concealment key corresponding to the UE from the HLR during authentication of the UE, and executes a concealment process to conceal the identity of the UE based on the concealment key.

  • Patent number: 7016706
Abstract: An image processing section reads out moving picture data from a memory section in accordance with an instruction from a control section, and subjects the moving picture data to a predetermined data process and converts it to image data and voice data. Based on the image data, a driver drives a display section for display control. The control section controls respective parts of a mobile radio terminal. Even while a moving picture is being reproduced, if call reception occurs, the control section temporarily suspends the reproduction of the moving picture and indicates the occurrence of call reception. If the call ends, the control section resumes the reproduction of the moving picture.

  • Patent number: 6449499
Abstract: This invention provides a dual-mode radio communication apparatus which can make normal communications even when an external apparatus is connected to a radio communication apparatus, the communication scheme of which is set in a digital mode. When the radio communication apparatus is not connected to a vehicle-mount kit via a connector in an analog mode, a switch control means of a controller switches a switching circuit to communicate a signal with a base station using a built-in antenna. When the apparatus is connected to the vehicle-mount kit, the switch control means switches the switching circuit to communicate a signal with the base station using an external antenna via the vehicle-mount kit and a booster unit. In the digital mode, the switch control means switches the switching circuit to communicate a signal with the base station using the built-in antenna independently of the connection with the vehicle-mount kit.

  • Patent number: 6408020
Abstract: According to the present invention, an analog-mode discharge characteristic storage area (21a) and a digital-mode discharge characteristic storage area (21b) store threshold data of remaining battery display in an incoming-call standby status in an analog mode and that in a digital mode, respectively. A remaining battery determination means (20a) determines a remaining battery level corresponding to a selected communication mode based on both a voltage of detected by a voltage detection circuit (32) and data stored in the analog-mode discharge characteristic storage area (21a) or the digital-mode discharge characteristic storage area (21b). A remaining battery display control means (20b) causes the remaining battery to be displayed on an LCD display of a control unit (22) in accordance with a determination result of the remaining battery determination means (20a).

  • Patent number: 6154639
Abstract: The present invention provides a cheap handsfree unit which can prevent the howling phenomenon and reduce the input sound from the loud-speaker into the microphone in both the analog and digital modes. A reception side comprises a signal level adjusting circuit constituted by a switch circuit and attenuators, and a transmission side comprises a signal level adjusting circuit constituted by a switch circuit and attenuators, to introduce the attenuation of 15 dB or 30 dB in response to the analog or digital mode. A voice switch is constituted so that the analog reception signal and the analog transmission signal are rectified respectively by rectifiers, the levels of both signals are compared by a comparator, and either switch or switch having a higher input signal level becomes conductive as a result of the comparison. The attenuation is introduced on the basis of the communication mode, only to either the analog reception signal or analog transmission signal having a smaller signal intensity.

  • Patent number: 5535433
Abstract: A hands-free circuitry in which, in order to prevent howling caused by acoustic coupling between a speaker and a microphone, a loss is inserted in a transmit audio path in a receive mode while a loss is inserted in a receive voice path in a transmit mode and values of the losses are controlled according to the volume set value of the speaker. Since the quantities of the losses are minimized when a howling margin is sufficient, simplex communication can be prevented that a user cannot listen to party's receive voice signal due to excessive attenuation.

  • Patent number: 5446782
Abstract: A terminal connecting device having an automatic data reception feature provides an interface between a radiotelephone and a data terminal device such as a facsimile machine without the need for modifying the specifications of the radiotelephone. By selecting an automatic data reception mode, a telephone subscriber may cause an incoming facsimile call to be engaged by the data terminal device without further subscriber intervention. The radiotelephone is connected to a communication network via a radio line and has connections for voice, call signaling information, and power. The radiotelephone includes switching means for selectively switching between a voice path and a data path, the latter being provided to the terminal connecting device.

  • Patent number: 5398281
Abstract: A hands-free circuit includes a transmit noise level detector which detects a transmit noise level and a first comparator which compares the transmit noise level with a reference level. If the transmit noise level is higher than the reference level, the first comparator provides a control signal indicating a noisy state has been detected. In response to the control signal, a transmit audio level is attenuated. Further the attenuated transmit audio level is compared with a receive audio level by a second comparator which provides an output signal indicating either a transmit-mode or a receive-mode. In response to the output of the second comparator, one audio signal is attenuated.
