Patent number: 7163415Abstract: A contact construction requiring minimum space above a connector allowing installation of a connection cable on a circuit board in a layout direction of contacts that provides increased freedom in wiring/board design. A bottom surface of the housing forms a mounting surface of the circuit board while a top surface forms a cable layout surface for laying out the connection cable in the surface direction of the circuit board. A bottom end of a terminal in the housing protrudes toward the circuit board side to form a contact part to connect with the circuit board, and the top end forms a connection part to connect with the connection cable. A plurality of terminals is provided in a row in the housing, a plurality of wires is laid out on the cable layout surface in the circuit board direction, ensuring each connection cable is electrically connected to the desired terminal.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2005Date of Patent: January 16, 2007Assignee: SMK CorporationInventor: Osamu Miyoshi

Patent number: 6379176Abstract: A flat cable connector has one or more contact bodies. Each contact body is formed from a bent plate body and has a terminal part and a circuit board contact part. The terminal part of the contact has a u-shape for contacting a flexible circuit board. The circuit board contact part has a flexible curved end for contacting a main circuit board. A housing case is positioned around the contact bodies and has openings on at least one side. The openings are positioned to expose parts of the contact bodies and include an insertion hole and a contact hole. The insertion hole provides access for a connection terminal part of a main circuit board to the circuit board contact parts of the contacts. The contact hole provides access for a flexible circuit board to the terminal parts of the contacts. A moveable cover fits loosely in the insertion hole and anchors the flexible circuit board to the terminal parts of the contacts to form an electrical connection.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2000Date of Patent: April 30, 2002Assignee: SMK CorporationInventors: Fumio Ohsawa, Osamu Miyoshi

Patent number: 4649421Abstract: A digital registration circuit for a multi-tube television camera wherein correction quantities corresponding to positions on a target of an image pickup tube are stored in a digital memory. The digital signal for the correction quantity read out from the digital memory is converted into an analog signal which is supplied to a low-pass filter and smoothed. The smoothed signal is sampled at a sampling frequency higher than the frequency at which the correction quantities stored in the digital memory are read out and the sampled signal is converted into a digital signal. The digital signals sequentially produced are applied to a shift register, and four sequential sample values supplied from the shift register are added together in an adder. The shift register operates in such a manner that four samples are shifted one by one every adding time. An output signal from the adder is used for correcting registration, so that the generation of shading can be prevented.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1984Date of Patent: March 10, 1987Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Denshi Kabushiki Kaisha, Hitachi Video Engineering Inc.Inventors: Takuma Kodama, Kenji Takahashi, Shizuka Ishibashi, Koji Kudo, Yukihiro Masuda, Masanori Hombough, Osamu Miyoshi, Kazuhisa Yoshiwara
