  • Patent number: 5848362
Abstract: A synthesizer varies the receive frequency band so that a receiver can receive signals in the receive frequency band of the uplink incoming call channel of a portable telephone. A receiver demodulates, from a receive signal entered via an antenna, the incoming call response signal of a portable telephone connected by radio to a base station. A comparator detects, from the incoming call response signal, the portable telephone's own ID number or telephone number stored in a memory. The memory consists of an EEPROM. An alerting section, in response to the detection of the portable telephone's own ID number or telephone number, performs call operation. The alerting section is provided with a loudspeaker for emitting an alerting sound, an LED for intermittently emitting light and a vibrator for generating vibration. A call operation select button selects the setting or resetting of the loudspeaker, the LED and the vibrator. The call operation stop button stops call operation.

  • Patent number: 5427734
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a manufacturing method of a complex shaped R--Fe--B type sintered anisotropic magnet improved the moldability of injection molding and preventing the reaction between R ingredients and binder and controlled the degradation of magnetic characteristics due to residual carbon and oxygen. Utilizing the R--Fe--B type alloy powder or the resin coated said alloy powder, and methylcellulose and/or agar and water, instead of the usual thermoplastic binder, it is mixed and injection molded. The molded body is dehydrated by the freeze vacuum dry method to control the reaction between R ingredients and of the R--Fe--B alloy powder and water; furthermore, by administering the de-binder treatment in the hydrogen atmosphere, and sintering it after the dehydrogen treatment, residual oxygen and carbon in the R--Fe--B sintered body is drastically reduced, improving the moldability during the injection molding to obtain a three dimensionally complex shape sintered magnet.

  • Patent number: 4765043
Abstract: An apparatus for removing residual rovings on roving bobbins in a most efficient manner. A roving bobbin has an annular sticking cloth secured to a portion of the peripheral surface thereof for attaching of a wind-starting end of a roving wound around the roving bobbin. The roving bobbin is rotated in a direction in which the roving is wound around the roving bobbin. A jet of air is directed toward the sticking cloth substantially in a tangential direction thereof in such a manner as to oppose the rotation of the roving bobbin, thereby removing residual portions of the roving attached to the surface of the sticking cloth.

  • Patent number: 4611087
Abstract: Novel salts of alkenylsuccinic monoesters represented by the following formulas (I) or (II): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 represents a hydrocarbon group, R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A represents an alkylene group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, B represents a carbonyl group or a methylene group, M is a monovalent or divalent cation. The monoesters can be emulsion-polymerized under optimum conditions while varying the hydrophilic and oleophilic balance depending on the type of monomer because they have hydrophobic hydrocarbon groups and oleophilic carboxylate groups and ether bonds of polyalkyleneoxy groups. The compounds according to the invention are an excellent reactive surface active agent, and also useful as an improver or modifier for polymer because they can impart hydrophilicity to hydrophobic resins when they are used in larger amounts as in the case of reactive surface active agents employed for ordinary.
