  • Patent number: 11287960
Abstract: In accordance with various implementations, a method is performed at an electronic device with a display device and one or more input devices. The method includes displaying, on the display device, a drawing user interface that includes a set of drawing objects. The method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a first user input moving to define a path within the drawing user interface. In response to detecting the first user input moving to define the path within the drawing user interface, the method includes displaying, on the display device, a representation of the path within the drawing user interface. The method includes detecting, via the one or more input devices, a second user input moving within the drawing user interface from a first location on a first side of the representation of the path to a second location.

  • Patent number: 11250902
Abstract: Power consumption for refresh of memory devices on a memory module is reduced by each memory device on the memory module to one of a plurality of sub channels on the memory module. Each sub channel has a thermal sensor that monitors the temperature of the DRAM chips in the region. The refresh rate is increased only for the memory devices in the sub channel in which the memory devices operate above a predefined high temperature. This results in a reduction in power required by the memory module for refresh and an increase in the maximum bandwidth of the memory module.

  • Publication number: 20220023670
Abstract: Embodiments are provided that enhance ultrasound efficacy by for example, high efficiency, signal measurement, calibration, and assurance systems with a control system radio-frequency (RE) driver configured to drive one or more focused ultrasound transducers. The RE driver can comprise one or more power amplifiers including one or more III-V semiconductors, (e.g., gallium nitride GaN, GaAs, GaSb, InP, InAs, InSb, InGaAs, AlSb, AlGaAs, and/or AlGaN) field-effect transistors to efficiently provide high power with distinct narrow-band RE signals over a wide frequency range. The RE driver can include a power measurement and/or calibration system to monitor the amplitude and phase of the RE signal output from the power amplifier and estimate the amount of RE power delivered to the ultrasound transducers.

  • Patent number: 11179218
Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-modal sensing of three-dimensional position information of the surface of an object are disclosed. In particular, multiple visualization modalities are each used to collect distinctive positional information of a surface of an object. Each of the computed positional information is combined using weighting factors to compute a final, weighted three-dimensional position. In various embodiments, a first depth may be recorded using fiducial markers, a second depth may be recorded using a structured light pattern, and a third depth may be recorded using a light-field camera. Weighting factors may be applied to each of the recorded depths and a final, weighted depth may be computed.

  • Publication number: 20210286089
Abstract: A first pair of a wide-lane (WL), zero-difference (ZD) bias filter and corresponding supplemental WL bias predictive filter determines the time-variant wide-lane bias for a corresponding received satellite based on adaptive estimation responsive to tuned dynamic noise. A second pair of narrow-lane (NL), zero-difference (ZD) bias filter and corresponding NL bias filter/code-phase bias filter determines the time-variant NL bias for a corresponding satellite based on adaptive estimation on adaptive estimation responsive to tuned dynamic noise. A correction signal comprises the WL ambiguities, the time-variant WL bias and the NL ambiguities and the time-variant NL bias, along with code bias or code-phase bias for each received satellite within a corresponding GNSS constellation.

  • Patent number: 11079248
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a navigation application that allows a user to peek ahead or behind during a turn-by-turn navigation presentation that the application provides while tracking a device (e.g., a mobile device, a vehicle, etc.) traversal of a physical route. As the device traverses along the physical route, the navigation application generates a navigation presentation that shows a representation of the device on a map traversing along a virtual route that represents the physical route on the map. While providing the navigation presentation, the navigation application can receive user input to look ahead or behind along the virtual route. Based on the user input, the navigation application moves the navigation presentation to show locations on the virtual route that are ahead or behind the displayed current location of the device on the virtual route. This movement can cause the device representation to no longer be visible in the navigation presentation.

  • Publication number: 20210216452
Abstract: A two-level main memory in which both volatile memory and persistent memory are exposed to the operating system in a flat manner and data movement and management is performed in cache line granularity is provided. The operating system can allocate pages in the two-level main memory randomly across the first level main memory and the second level main memory in a memory-type agnostic manner, or, in a more intelligent manner by allocating predicted hot pages in first level main memory and predicted cold pages in second level main memory. The cache line granularity movement is performed in a “swap” manner, that is, a hot cache line in the second level main memory is swapped with a cold cache line in first level main memory because data is stored in either first level main memory or second level main memory not in both first level main memory and second level main memory.

Abstract: A multitouch device can interpret and disambiguate different gestures related to manipulating a displayed image of a 3D object, scene, or region. Examples of manipulations include pan, zoom, rotation, and tilt. The device can define a number of manipulation modes, including one or more single-control modes such as a pan mode, a zoom mode, a rotate mode, and/or a tilt mode. The manipulation modes can also include one or more multi-control modes, such as a pan/zoom/rotate mode that allows multiple parameters to be modified simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20210141692
Abstract: A memory subsystem includes multiple memory resources connected in parallel, including a first memory resource and a second memory resource. The memory subsystem can split a portion of data into multiple sub-portions. Split into smaller portions, the system needs fewer ECC (error checking and correction) bits to provide the same level of ECC protection. The portion of data can include N ECC bits for error correction, and the sub-portions can each include a sub-portion of (N?M) ECC bits for error correction. The system can then use M bits of data for non-ECC purposes, such as metadata.

  • Patent number: 10921471
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for monitoring operation integrity during hydrocarbon production or fluid injection operations. According to the methods and systems, received microseismic data is processed to obtain a plurality of data panels corresponding to microseismic data measured over a predetermined time interval. For each data panel, trigger values are calculated for data traces corresponding to sensor receivers of the microseismic monitoring system. At least one data panel is selected as a triggered data panel that satisfies predetermined triggering criteria. At least one triggered data panel is selected as a non-trivial data panel that satisfies spectral density criteria. A value is calculated for each of at least two event attributes of a plurality of event attributes of the event. An event score is determined based on the values of the plurality of event attributes. An event is classified into at least one event category of a plurality of event categories based on the event score.

  • Patent number: 10895954
Abstract: The subject technology provides rendering an image in a first view including a plurality of tiles, each tile comprising image data corresponding to a portion of the image. The subject technology, responsive to detecting an initiation of touch input corresponding to the image, copies the image data from the plurality of tiles to a graphical canvas. The subject technology displays the image data in the graphical canvas in a second view, the graphical canvas being overlaid over at least a portion of the rendered image. The subject technology receives input stroke data corresponding to the second view, the input stroke data being continuous with the touch input. The subject technology responsive to detecting that the touch input has ended, copies the input stroke data to the plurality of tiles of the first view. Further, The subject technology displays the input stroke data and the image in the plurality of tiles of the first view.
