Publication number: 20150008712Abstract: The present invention relates to an anatomic desk chair for office or home work, which has a displacement system composed by a plurality of wheels which allow the user to move from one location to another, wherein the chair is characterized by comprising a backrest having a frame with a tire-type assembly system, i.e. wherein the backrest as such is made of an elastomeric material and is assembled in the frame by pressure and these are adjusted through a series of screws attaching the frame and the counter-frame. Thus, the assembly system is composed by a back support or “skeleton” which corresponds to a piece injected in an elastomer requiring of a stretching process subsequent to the injection in order to obtain the shape and dimension sufficient to assembly in the frame with a tire-type system, after such skeleton-frame assembly the counter-frame is assembled through screws as previously indicated.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 5, 2013Publication date: January 8, 2015Inventor: Pablo Andrés Naranjo Cardóna

Publication number: 20080207462Abstract: Microorganisms are used in large-scale heap or tank aeration processes for the commercial extraction of a variety of metals from their ores or concentrates. These include copper, cobalt, gold and, in the past, uranium. The metal solubilization processes are considered to be largely chemical with the microorganisms providing the chemicals and the space (exopolysaccharide layer) where the mineral dissolution reactions occur. Temperatures at which these processes are carried out can vary from ambient to 80° C. and the types of organisms present depends to a large extent on the process temperature used. Irrespective of the operation temperature, biomining microbes have several characteristics in common. One shared characteristic is their ability to produce the ferric iron and sulfuric acid required to degrade the mineral and facilitate metal recovery. Other characteristics are their ability to grow autotrophically, their acid-tolerance and their inherent metal resistance or ability to acquire metal resistance.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2006Publication date: August 28, 2008Applicant: BIOSIGMA S.A.Inventors: Ricardo Badilla Ohlbaum, Alejandro Eduardo Maass Sepulveda, Pilar Angelica Parada Valdecantos, Andres Octavio Aravena Duarte, Mauricio Alejandro Gonzalez Canales, Servet Martinez Aguilera, Katia Nicole Ehrenfeld Stolzenbach, Pablo Andres Moreno Cortez
