  • Patent number: 10003928
Abstract: A method and system for deploying a calibrated positioning map of an area. The method, executed in a processor of a server computing device, comprises receiving, at a memory of the server computing device, a first set of fingerprint data acquired within the area by a plurality of mobile devices, generating, using the processor, a distribution of calibrated data points based at least in part on the first set of fingerprint data, the calibrated data points representing respective positions within the area, receiving, at the memory, a second set of fingerprint data acquired by at least one additional mobile device, processing, using the processor, the second set of fingerprint data and the calibrated data points to generate an updated distribution of calibrated data points, and when the updated distribution exceeds a predetermined threshold density of calibration data points, deploying the updated distribution as the calibrated positioning map of the area.

  • Patent number: 9961508
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure related to methods and systems of determining the floor and location of a device in an indoor space having multiple floors. A map importing module takes a floor map of an indoor space and processes it for further use. A calibration module creates a fingerprint map of the indoor space described by the floor map. A floor localization module searches the fingerprint map of each floor to determine the most likely location for each floor. A floor detection module determines the floor and location based on the most likely locations for each floor and any of map constraints data and device movement data.

  • Patent number: 9906914
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure related to methods and systems of determining the position of a device in indoor space. A map importing module takes a floor map of an indoor space and processes it for further use. A calibration module creates a fingerprint map of the indoor space described by the floor map. A positioning module uses the calibration data embodied in a fingerprint map as well as device signal and sensor readings in order to estimate a trajectory for the device, then position the device within the indoor space described by the floor map using a probability density function.

  • Patent number: 9872448
Abstract: An apparatus is used for growing plants or tissues under aseptic conditions. The apparatus includes a lid and a base compartment. A linking mechanism is provided for connecting the lid and the base compartment. The linking mechanism is provided with a locking mechanism, which is movable from a locked position to an un-locked position and vice-versa. In the locked position, the locking mechanism holds the lid in an abutting closed relation with respect to the base compartment. In the un-locked position, the linking mechanism is provided with means for automatically lifting the lid to an elevated-suspended position with respect to the base compartment thereby providing an access route to reach the base compartment and perform desired operations.

  • Patent number: 9011952
Abstract: The invention pertains to a method and apparatus for separation of seeds from fruit pulp/skin/twigs, in general, coming out from juice producing industry as a waste and in particular from apple pomace. The method involves addition of apple pomace and water in a particular ratio to a vessel (1), mixing with an agitator (6, 8) at optimum rpm for sufficient period, allowed to stand followed by secondary agitation. Based on difference in bulk density, seeds were separated from pomace. The seedless pomace withdrawn from horizontal (13) or inclined (14) outlets and seeds collected in seed collection chamber were removed through bottom valve (11). The seed trap (15) provided at inclined outlet (14) helps in their retention in the vessel (1). The seedless pomace is recovered by filtration from water. This spent water can be recycled for few times and then purged. Easy to handle separation device is energy efficient, compactly designed and can be used to separate the seeds efficiently up to 97%.

  • Publication number: 20140137297
Abstract: The assimilated C and N largely influence plant growth and crop yields. Previous attempts to alter the carbon and nitrogen status of the plants attempted with one or two genes The present invention involves simultaneous co-overexpression of three genes wherein one gene (PEPCase) efficiently capture CO2 whereas the other two encode for enzymes (Asp AT and GS) involved in nitrogen assimilation. The combined effect is the enhancement of carbon and nitrogen status of the plant and the productivity.
