Abstract: A packaged radio frequency (RF) module is disclosed. The module can include a substrate, a first die electrically and mechanically attached to the substrate, a second die electrically and mechanically attached to the substrate, an encapsulating material, and a lid attached to the substrate. The first die comprises a silicon-based die, such as an RF switch die, and the second die comprises a compound semiconductor die, such as an RF amplifier. The encapsulating material can protect electrical connections between the first die and the substrate. The substrate and the lid at least partially define an air cavity within which the first and the second die are mounted. An active surface of the second die is exposed to the air cavity.

Abstract: A plenum flooring system is installed over high density insulation panels, capable of preventing both heat loss to ground and intrusion of ground moisture into the flooring plenum space. The system is comprised of one or more flooring segments, each containing at least one surface opening to the plenum space, and a plenum ventilation system. The ventilation system includes a blower and air inlet openings in seals that are arranged along the perimeter of the plenum flooring segments at the walls of the interior of the poultry housing unit. The blower withdraws air from the plenum space through the surface opening of the flooring segment and discharges it into the poultry housing unit chamber, creating a continuous flow of ventilation air to maintain uniform flooring surface temperatures and remove moisture that migrates to the plenum space from manure on the perforated flooring surface due a moisture gradient.

The system includes a first sensor recording a first motion amount related to a head of a rider and at least a second sensor recording at least a second motion amount of a portion of a vehicle. The system also includes a comparison manager determining a severity level based on a comparison between the first motion amount and the second motion amount. Also included is a notification manager providing recommendations to the rider based on the severity level. Additionally, an implementation manager may dynamically implement one or more actions based on the severity level.

Abstract: Implementations of a real-time web analytics platform described herein provide systems and methods for generating operational and business intelligence based on web traffic data and transactional data. Embodiments related to collecting and processing real-time data by using a distributed network to capture and process incoming data streams. Messages are published in a designated message bus queue. Consumer programs pull and store the data in a NoSql database. Each message is immediately added to the previous messages and the individual or aggregated messages may be viewed in real time. Further processing aggregates the data, and metrics are calculated and stored. Comma Separated Value (csv) files are created and loaded into a reporting database for clients viewing longer term (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) statistics.

Abstract: A method of building a three dimensional (3D) structure includes micro-dispensing a layer comprising a material using a syringe-based micro-dispensing tool, curing the layer, and repeating the steps of micro-dispensing and curing a plurality of times in order to build the three-dimensional structure. The material may be loaded with nano to micron sized particles, tubes, or strings.

Abstract: An integrated system of technology applications and methods to provide comprehensive management of poultry waste improves the productivity of poultry housing facilities while reducing the environmental and public health impacts of poultry production. The method utilizes a plurality of housing units, each including plenum flooring and ventilation to improve the health of birds as they grow from hatchlings to market size adults. After the birds are removed from the housing units, manure is immediately removed from the flooring system and preferably transported to a processing facility. The units are cleaned and fumigated with ozone so that they are ready to receive a new flock within approximately 48 hours from removal of the preceding flock.
