  • Publication number: 20070199214
Abstract: Excavator tool quick attachment device (1) is used to attach a tool to a dipper arm (2) of an excavator. Body member (52) has two receivers (12,14) for tool pins (11,15). Receiver (12) has a movable latch (3) powered by an hydraulic ram (20) for securing and releasing pin (11) and receiver (14) has a movable spring loaded lock (22) for securing and releasing pin (15). A control assembly (21) is connected between latch (3) and lock (22) but only operates to release lock (22) when the device (1) is inverted relative to a normal working position and the hydraulic ram (20) is activated.

  • Patent number: 7140004
Abstract: A zero-footprint remotely hosted phone application development environment is described. The environment allows a developer to use a standard computer without any specialized software (in some embodiments all that is necessary is a web browser and network access) together with a telephone to develop sophisticated phone applications that use speech recognition and/or touch tone inputs to perform tasks, access web-based information, and/or perform commercial transactions. Some embodiments support concurrent call flow tracking that allows a developer to observe, using a web browser, the execution of her/his application. A variety of reusable libraries are provided to enable the developer to leverage well-developed libraries for common playback, input, and computational tasks. Embodiments support rapid application deployment from the development environment to hosted application deployment to the intended audience.

  • Publication number: 20040231220
Abstract: Disclosed is a riflescope that incorporates physical measurements and user specific firearm parameters to calculate and designate the target impact point. The scope incorporates a laser range finder with the receiver integrated into the visual sight path thus utilizing the large objective aperture to collect as much reflected light as possible. This ensures long distance operation while maintaining a compact form factor. The line-of-sight laser distance and inclination angle are measured and used to calculate the actual horizontal target distance. A user interface keypad and display provide a mechanism to enter in firearm and ammunition specific parameters such as muzzle velocity and ballistic coefficient. A barometric pressure and temperature sensor measure the actual air density; this and the user entered ballistic coefficient quantify the resulting bullet drag and thus resulting final velocity.

  • Patent number: 6720689
Abstract: An electronically commutated brushless motor including a motor housing, a bulge formed in a sidewall of the motor housing, and a capacitor assembly housed in the bulge. The capacitor assembly includes a capacitor printed circuit board (PCB) having a plurality of longitudinal edges and at least one capacitor mounted on the capacitor PCB. The bulge includes a plurality of channels located along an inside surface of a sidewall of the bulge, in which the longitudinal edges of the capacitor assembly are slideably inserted.

  • Patent number: 6661140
Abstract: An electronically commutated brushless motor including a housing for accurately angularly aligning a position sensor relative to a position of a stator. The housing includes an integrally formed bridge for precisely situating the position sensor within the bridge, and a plurality of integrally formed locating ribs formed on an internal surface of a circumferential wall portion of the housing for precisely angularly situating the stator within the housing. Since the locating ribs and the bridge are all integrally formed on the housing, this eliminates the possibility of angular misalignment of the position sensor relative the stator during assembly of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20030107278
Abstract: A double insulated electronically commutated brushless motor for coupling to a gearbox of a motor driven product. The motor includes a first layer of electrical insulation that includes a plurality of insulating strips formed in the shape of stator slots and inserted into the stator slots before windings are wound in the stator slots. Additionally, the first layer of electrical insulation includes a plurality of insulating strips wedged between the winding and a mouth of the winding slots after the windings are inserted. The motor further includes a second layer of electrical insulation made up of an insulating tube pressed onto a shaft between the shaft and a rotor stack.

  • Patent number: 6383164
Abstract: A breast pump funnel is disclosed. The funnel is shaped and dimensioned to fit a woman's breast, and has a neck to receive the nipple, a cup to fit over an inner part of the breast and a plurality of fingers extending outwardly from the cup to contact an outer part of the breast. The pump section of the breast pump is connected to the neck of the funnel to apply a varying suction to draw milk from the breast and to deliver the milk into a receiving vessel. The tips of the fingers of the funnel serve to massage the breast and stimulate the release of milk from the breast during pumping.

  • Patent number: 6270673
Abstract: A fluid processing assembly is used in association with a cassette that conveys fluid and a holder to hold the cassette. A door is carried by the holder for movement between an opened position to expose the holder and a closed position enclosing the cassette in the holder. The door carries an expandable gasket. The expandable gasket normally rests, when the door is in the closed position, in a relaxed state out of sealing contact with the held cassette. An actuator applies pressure to the expandable gasket to achieve, when the door is in the closed position, an expanded state in sealing contact against the held cassette. The assembly also includes a latch assembly on the door and holder, which makes engagement when the door is in the closed position. The engagement is unlocked when the gasket rests in the relaxed state. The engagement becomes locked when the gasket achieves the expanded state.

  • Patent number: 6055673
Abstract: A pants having frayable leg bottoms is provided by provision of at least one circumferential thread stitching proximate each leg bottom. The circumferential thread stitching provides a defined boundary for fraying and cutting the leg bottom to a selected length. The pant legs are cut below the stitching line to define the fabric area for fraying in the pant legs. Fraying in the legs is then provided by separation of yarns at cut bottoms in normal wear and laundering of the pants. In a preferred embodiment, the pant legs include multiple circumferential double needle top stitching rows of thread which are spaced apart from the leg bottoms.
