Abstract: A mobile wireless communications device may include a housing, a wireless transceiver carried by the housing, a memory carried by the housing, a display carried by the housing, and a processor carried by the housing. The processor is configured to implement a digital wallet including a multi-mode user card having first and second user interface modes, and selectively change the multi-mode user card from the first user interface mode to the second user interface mode based upon a current location, a current time, or a determined event. The second user interface mode includes one or more of a mapping interface mode, a survey interface mode, or a purchase interface mode.

Abstract: System and methods for tracking events in a sports game using one or more event input devices. Each event input device tracks a subset of the game events and the devices work together to provide a simplified input experience by sharing input and context from other event input devices. Since the user is only responsible for capturing a subset of the events, and because each device simplifies the input requirements of the other event input devices, the end user is still able to enjoy watching the game while also opening up the input task to users who would not have typically done so. The combined results of the devices provides a complete picture of the game in the form of a game play-by-play for the fans and statistics for the coaches. Integration with the scoreboard, communication system and player devices provide further event input simplification, rich content for viewers and simplification for traditional scorekeepers and sound controllers.

Abstract: A hydrogen fuel coupling system may include a hydrogen fuel tank and a hydrogen fuel supply connector. The tank has a first connector, and a second connector disposed around the first connector. The second connector has a boil-off inlet port for receiving gaseous hydrogen from the tank. The hydrogen fuel supply connector may include a hydrogen fuel transfer line, a third connector for operably sealably connecting the transfer line to a first connector of the tank for supplying liquid hydrogen, and a shroud extending around the third connector and the transfer line defining a gap therebetween. A fourth connector operably sealably connects a first end of the shroud to a second connector of the tank. A second end of the shroud is operably sealably engageable with the transfer line. A boil-off vent is connected to the shroud for venting gas from the gap.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authorizing a payment card transaction using a dynamic code accessed from a first device and a presence of a second device. The dynamic code can be accessed on a first device when the second device is within a proximity of the first device (e.g., electronically paired using a short-range communication protocol, on the same local area network). The system can receive a request for authorization of a transaction using the payment card and can include a verification code associated with the payment card and an identifier of the payment card, and the payment card can have the associated dynamic code. The verification code can be compared with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. In response to the verification code matching the dynamic code at the time of the transaction, the system can authorize the transaction.

Abstract: A device for determining the temperature of a mixed material in a rotary mixer includes a stationary housing and a mixing container that can be moved on a circular path into different rotational positions about a main axis of rotation. A mixed material receptacle in form of a solid of revolution has a bottom and a side wall, and an axis of symmetry arranged obliquely to the plane of the circular path and orthogonally to the bottom. The mixing container is rotatably mounted about the axis of symmetry and the device in an idle state has no material to be mixed and in an operating state in which the mixing container is filled with material to be mixed, rotates on the circular path, with a non-contact measuring radiation detector being arranged in a stationary manner on the housing, which is directed towards the circular path.

The system can receive a request for authorization of a transaction using the payment card. The request can identify a verification code associated with the payment card and an identifier of the payment card, and the payment card can have an associated dynamic code accessible to a user via a channel. The verification code can be compared with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. The system can determine whether the user of the payment card accessed the channel within a time period prior to receiving the request for authorization. In response to the verification code matching the dynamic code at the time of the transaction and determining that the user accessed the channel within the time period prior to receiving the request, the system can authorize the transaction.

The system can receive from a device associated with a user, a request to download an application. In response to a first instance of the application being downloaded on the device, the system can assign a unique identifier to the first instance of the application. After the application is downloaded and prior to granting the person requesting the application download access to the first instance of the application, the system can request via the first instance of the application identification information and particular authentication information to verify that the person requesting the application download is authorized to do so. In response to verifying that the person requesting the application download is authorized, the unique identifier can be associated with the account, user and/or device to result in a verified download of the first instance of the application.
