  • Publication number: 20190229615
Abstract: Systems and methods for quickly charging a load capacitance to a voltage level that is a multiple of the DC input voltage are provided herein. In one approach, the load capacitance is charged by a voltage multiplication circuit, and the load capacitance is subsequently discharged into a resonant circuit that drives a diode opening switch in order to create a fast rising, unipolar electrical pulse.

  • Publication number: 20190060850
Abstract: A system for mixing a liquid with a powder into a solution batch includes a hopper (20) into which said powder is deposited, the hopper (20) having a powder outlet (22) therein. A mix tank (60) is also provided having a liquid supply inlet (62), a recirculation inlet (64), and a solution outlet (66). A mix pump (40) that is in fluid communication with the solution outlet (66), the powder outlet (22), and the recirculation inlet (64) operates to mix and transfer the solution.

  • Publication number: 20180361047
Abstract: A system and apparatus for opening and emptying a bag of material includes a base having a pair of opposed sides and a central aperture through which material may flow. The system includes a pair of opposed doors rotatably mounted on a pair of door shafts, the edges of the pair of opposed doors forming an opening and a plurality of piercing blades pivotally mounted to the base on a pivot rod, the blades capable of pivoting to pierce said bag. The system further includes a cutting blade mounted transversely below the opening of the opposed doors, the cutting blade capable of linear motion across the opening.

  • Publication number: 20050048190
Abstract: Sago-based gelling starches and the use thereof. Such modified starches exhibit exceptionally fast gelling properties, high gel strengths, and exceptional elasticity. These properties allow for significantly reduced processing times, including reduced hold times. Further, the higher gel strength allows for reduced starch levels without loss of final product gel strength integrity or texture. The instant gelling starches are particularly useful in food systems of the type that gel upon standing, such as pie and cream fillings, puddings, spreads, and jellies.

  • Publication number: 20020032668
Abstract: A method and system for enabling a product transfer transaction between a buyer and a seller. The method includes receiving via a communication network a product request from a buyer to obtain products from a remote seller, determining an appropriate mailer to send to the seller for the seller to place the requested product in the mailer and send the mailer with the product to the buyer, and determining an appropriate postage amount to place on the mailer.
