  • Patent number: 9052097
Abstract: Support clips and systems thereof are provided. Support clips include a web, a lower flange, and an upper flange. The lower flange extends from the web orthogonally. The upper flange extends from the web, towards the lower flange, at an angle. The lower flange includes an aperture for receiving a fastener. Systems include support clips of the present invention coupling a ballast housing to a mounting module. The lower flange is secured to the housing, and the upper flange engages the mounting module, such that the housing is supported by the support clip against the mounting module when in a latched position. A user is able to secure a fastener through the support clip aperture and openings in the housing and mounting module without having to use additional hands.

  • Patent number: 8783316
Abstract: A device and method for the manufacture of medical devices, specifically, endovascular grafts, or sections thereof. Layers of fusible material are disposed upon a shape forming member and seams formed between the layers in a configuration that can produce inflatable channels in desired portions of the graft. After creation of the seams, the fusible material of the inflatable channels may be fixed while the channels are in an expanded state. A five axis robotic seam forming apparatus may be used to create the seams in the layers of fusible material.

  • Patent number: 8545064
Abstract: Lighting assemblies or lighting fixtures suitable for use in a hazardous location are provided. Generally, the lighting fixtures include a light source assembly, a heat sink, a driver housing or gear module, a thermally conductive sealing member between the light source assembly and the heat sink, and a thermally nonconductive sealing member or a thermally semi-conductive sealing member positioned between the heat sink and the driver housing. The conductive sealing member has a thermal conductivity of at least about 6 Watts per meter-Kelvin, and/or a thermal impedance of less than about 0.21 degree-C inch squared per Watt. The lighting fixtures have controlled directional heat transfer from the light source assembly to the exterior of the lighting fixture, while minimizing the heat transferred to the driver housing.
