    Abstract: A heart valve therapy system including a delivery device and a stented valve. The delivery device includes an outer sheath, an inner shaft, an optional hub assembly, and a plurality of tethers. In a delivery state, a stent frame of the prosthesis is crimped over the inner shaft and maintained in a compressed condition by the outer sheath. The tethers are connected to the stent frame. In a partial deployment state, the outer sheath is at least partially withdrawn, allowing the stent frame to self-expand. Tension in the tethers prevents the stent frame from rapidly expanding and optionally allowing recapture. Upon completion of the stent frame expansion, the tethers are withdrawn.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for anatomy-directed ultrasound are described. In some implementations, an anatomy-directed ultrasound system generates ultrasound data from an ultrasound scan of an anatomy, which is a bodily structure of an organism (e.g., human or animal). The system identifies organs represented in the ultrasound data and information associated with the organs including position and type of organ. Using this information, the system obtains or generates new ultrasound data that includes a region in which an item of interest is likely to be located. For example, the system can crop the original ultrasound data, refocus the ultrasound scan (e.g., by adjusting imaging parameters) to image the region that is likely to include the item of interest, or generate a weight map indicating the region. The anatomy-directed ultrasound system can increase accuracy and reduce the number of false positives in comparison to the number detected by conventional ultrasound systems.

The supplemental oxygen passes through this chamber 10, 20 in which the aerosol is located, and collects the aerosol transporting it to a patient via a nasal cannula 3 or a face mask 4. An aerosol generator 9 is mounted to the housing 10, 20 and delivers aerosol into an oxygen stream 13 flowing between an inlet 14 and an outlet 15 of the housing 10. The housing 10 also has a removable plug 16 in the base 17 thereof for draining any liquid that accumulates in the housing 10. There is no disruption of oxygen delivery to patients using nasal cannulas who currently have to use a separate face-mask when receiving nebulized medication.

At the start of the procedure, the peritoneum is being inflated by means of the flow of insufflator gas. This gas flow will help to entrain the aerosolized medicament to the pneumoperitoneum regions. The surgeon can temporarily remove the camera from the trocar port to facilitate insertion and positioning of the aerosolizing unit.

The monitoring hub has qualified personnel who are enrolled in the REMS program as a prescriber designee for the clinician. The prescriber designee works with the clinician, pharmacy, or laboratory to ensure compliance with the REMS requirements. In addition to providing administrative support for REMS compliance, the service could be an integrated care management system that assists patients/families and providers with other aspects of their care and practice needs.
