Abstract: A system for monitoring at least one HVAC system includes at least one remotely accessible server, at least one probe or sensor operatively connected to the at least one HVAC system and configured to acquire operational data, and a communication module operatively connected to the at least one probe or sensor and configured to transmit the operational data acquired to the at least one remotely accessible server. The remotely accessibly server includes a processor and a memory unit and is programmed to receive and store operational data acquired for the HVAC system, and identify any operational abnormalities by analysing the operational data. Responsive to an operational abnormality being identified, the server is further programmed to designate a tiered maintenance status for the HVAC system and transmit a corresponding tiered maintenance request to a technician based on the tiered maintenance status designated.

Abstract: A flame simulating assembly is provided with a reflected flickering light that includes only one light source. Light from the light source passes through a rotating flicker element onto one or more reflectors, or mirrors, that reflect light up onto a simulated fuel bed and the some of the light is reflected off of the flicker elements towards a flame screen to create a simulated flame. The dipping flicker elements creates a fluttering light effect due to the flicker elements “intermittently dipping” into the light path. This fluctuating light is reflected onto the logs and ember bed in front and creates a dancing effect, which simulates glowing embers.

The system comprises a computer readable storage device configured to store a plurality of sets of data for a plurality of hosts, wherein each sets of data of the plurality of sets of data corresponding to each host of the plurality of hosts is encrypted with one or more different encryption keys, and wherein at least one of the plurality of sets of data contains deduplicated data. The system also comprises a key translator configured to create at least one translation key based, at least in part, on the one or more different encryption keys and the deduplicated data, and wherein the at least one translation key is configured to translate from a first encryption key to a second encryption key of the one or more different encryption keys.

Abstract: A method generates a data source. A user selects a first data set from a displayed object model of a database. The object model includes data sets linked visually by many-to-one relationships to form a tree. The user selects a data field in the first data set and specifies a filter condition. The system identifies a second data set in the tree, and joins the first and second data sets. When the second data set is related to the first data set via one or more many-to-one relationships, rows of the second data set are joined to rows of the first data set that satisfy the first filter condition. When the second data does not satisfy the condition, the second data set is joined to rows of the first data set that satisfy the first filter condition, and all rows of the second data set are included in the generation.

Abstract: A night hunting spotlight has a fixed lens, a fixed bezel, and a light-emitting diode (LED) movable in relation to the fixed lens so as to broaden or narrow the beam, respectively. The LED may be movable using telescoping mechanisms, rotating mechanisms, knobs, linear actuators (manually actuated or electronically controlled), or other mechanisms capable of moving the LED along the longitudinal axis of the night hunting light to approximate the lens or move distally therefrom.

Abstract: A panel television support and mounting kit allows the consumer to employ any of the three modes of support, namely stand mount, elevated console mount and wall mount. The elevated console mount incorporates a vertical spine to elevate the panel television above the console and an offset arm to support the television over an upper shelf of the console. Abstract: A document processing device convertible between a first configuration and a second configuration includes an input receptacle, a transport mechanism, a scanner, and a convertible output area. The input receptacle is configured to receive documents including currency bills therein. The scanner is positioned along the transport path and is configured to scan at least a portion of each of the documents transported to generate data associated therewith. Moreover, the system includes a water separator operatively coupled with the combustion furnace. Furthermore, the system includes an isotope-ratio mass spectrometer operatively coupled with the water separator. Moreover, the isotope-ratio mass spectrometer comprises an ion source for generating ion beams associated with each of the oxidized gaseous components and a mass analyser for receiving the generated ion beams from the ion source, wherein the mass analyser is operable to determine isotopic concentrations associated with each of the ion beams.

The RAID drive array operates using a log-structured filing system. Dividing the data block into at least two sets of data sub-blocks and generating check data for the at least two sets of data sub-blocks, the check data enabling the reconstruction of one of the sets of data sub-blocks using the other set or sets of data sub-blocks. Further storing each set of data sub-blocks and the check data in a different storage unit and obtaining location metadata that identifies a physical location for the data sub-blocks within the storage unit in which the respective data sub-blocks are stored and storing a copy of the location metadata in at least two storage units.

Abstract: A processor may identify a storage system having a cluster of multiple nodes with redundancy for sharing a load of host input/output (IO) operations. The processor may upgrade one or more nodes at a time making use of redundancy. The processor may collect performance statistics of the storage system with the upgraded nodes during active use of the host IO operations. The processor may compare the collected performance statistics with historical performance statistics for the storage system. If the upgraded nodes show a negative performance impact, the processor may take remedial action. Otherwise, the processor may continue to upgrade the remaining nodes.
