  • Patent number: 11120166
Abstract: Technologies are provided for generation of firmware configured to restrict use of a firmware tool. Some embodiments include a computing system that can obtain firmware source code comprising a module configured to copy contents of a digitally signed binary file to an advanced configuration and power management interface (ACPI) table at runtime of a firmware. The computing system can generate a firmware image of the firmware, the firmware image comprising the module, a first firmware globally unique identifier (GUID), and a defined area storing digital content that remains unchanged upon a change to the firmware. The computing system also can obtain a binary file comprising a second firmware GUID, a firmware tool GUID, and a feature GUID, and can digitally sign the binary file using a private encryption key to generate the digitally signed binary file. The computing system can store the digitally signed binary file within the defined area.

  • Patent number: 11118048
Abstract: Nanostructures and associated compositions, systems, and methods are provided. In some embodiments, a nanostructure may comprise polymers, intermolecular bonding groups, and a particle. The polymers may be associated with the particle and the intermolecular bonding groups may be associated with at least some of the polymers. In some embodiments, at least some of the intermolecular bonding groups may have a different chemical composition and/or chemical property than the polymers. In some embodiments, nanostructures may reversibly associate with each other via the intermolecular bonding groups to form a material. In some such cases, the intermolecular bonding groups on different nanostructures may reversibly associate with each other. In some embodiments, the nanostructures may be designed, such that the energy required to disassociate at least a portion of the nanostructures in the material is greater than the energy required to dissociate a single association between intermolecular bonding groups.

  • Patent number: 11107295
Abstract: Examples herein describe systems and methods for aligning elements, such as conduit, ductwork, and plumbing within a computer-aided design (“CAD”) application. A plugin can provide an element alignment option on a graphical user interface (“GUI”) of the CAD program. An anchor point from which to align elements is selected in the GUI so that the plugin can choose locations within a structure to run multiple elements in parallel alignment. The system can recommend an alignment plane based on the slopes of the selected multiple elements and provide a direction for a run of the multiple elements. The systems retrieve the specifications and parameters of each individual element to determine its spacing among the run of multiple elements. The run of multiple elements is displayed and manipulated by the plugin via the GUI.

  • Publication number: 20210235995
Abstract: A method (10) for analyzing blood pressure measurements to determine any contextual or measurement tester related cause of the outlier. The method comprises identifying an obtained measurement as an outlier by comparing it with historical measurements for the subject. Any possible contextual cause of the outlier is first determined based on data in a database of contextual data for the subject. A database of historical measurement data for the tester who collected the measurement is then accessed and a determination made as to whether the outlier is attributable to the tester. Finally, the measurement, outlier status and any identified contextual or outlier-attributable cause are output. In embodiments, the measurement may be appended to a database, labelled as a true measurement and/or labelled with a cause for outlier status. Appending as a true measurement may be performed dependent on no determination being made of a contextual or tester-related cause of the outlier.
