  • Patent number: 11334062
Abstract: A method of evaluating a part is characterized by obtaining data representing a distress rank model (DRM) and a cumulative damage model (CDM) for the part. Based on the data, the method ascertains a DRM value for the part and a CDM value for the part. The method determines whether the DRM value is at or above a predetermined DRM threshold and whether a CDM value is at or above a predetermined CDM threshold. If either the DRM value or the CDM value is at or above at least one respective threshold, an action related to the part is generated.

  • Patent number: 11315138
Abstract: Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for establishing and conducting payment processing with loyalty points using distributed ledger. One method includes: receiving a consumer identification, an issuer identification, and transaction information from a point of sale system when the loyalty card is presented for a transaction of a good or service at a merchant, identifying the network node containing distributed ledger associated with the issuer according to received issuer identification prompting, to participants of the shared ledger, to validate whether the consumer distributed ledger has required loyalty points for the transaction; if all of the participants of the shared ledger accepts the transaction, generating, a new immutable entry to the distributed ledger for the transaction with remaining loyalty points in the loyalty card after deducting the points required for the transaction; and sending a transaction approved message to the point of sale system at the merchant.

  • Publication number: 20220124149
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for implementing synchronous replication. For example, a synchronous replication relationship may be established between a first storage controller hosting local storage and a second storage controller hosting remote storage (e.g., replication may be specified at a file, logical unit number (LUN), or any other level of granularity). Data operations and offloaded operations may be implemented in parallel upon the local storage and the remote storage. Error handling operations may be implemented upon the local storage and implement in parallel as a best effort on the remote storage, and a reconciliation may be performed to identify any data divergence from the best effort parallel implementation. Storage area network (SAN) operations may be implemented upon the local storage, and upon local completion may be remotely implemented upon the remote storage.

  • Publication number: 20220074189
Abstract: A stormwater treatment system and method for removing sediment, chemical pollutants, and debris from stormwater runoff by utilizing bioretention practices including physical, chemical and biological processes. Stormwater is directed into a primarily open-bottomed, multi-dimensional container whereby entrained sediment and other transportable materials are filtered and treated through a media filter layer consisting of inorganic and/or organic materials. A live plant (preferably a tree) situated within the container with roots resident in the media filter layer with the ability for expansion beyond the perimeter of the container through openings in one or more sidewalls. The treated water may be further conveyed beyond the perimeter of the container by additional openings and/or piping. A vertically positioned overflow/bypass/clean out piping apparatus may be included within the stormwater treatment system to provide additional water conveyance.

  • Publication number: 20220071833
Abstract: The new Shock Absorber Under Arm Adjustable Height Walking Crutches are standard aluminum adjustable height walking crutches modified with 4 coil springs added under the arm rest, one spring in each crutch pipe below the arm rest. Two per crutch 4 per pair of crutches, the springs are accommodated by a Pipe Spring Adapter which holds the springs in place and also allows the springs to move freely. The crutches are used exactly the same as standard aluminum adjustable height crutches but with the addition of the springs and pipe spring adapters the crutches now have a shock absorber effect under the arm rest. The springs actuate each time the user applies weight to the arm rest therefore alleviating the pain caused to the under arms by standard crutches.

  • Publication number: 20220058886
Abstract: Examples herein describe systems and methods for aligning elements, such as conduit, ductwork, and plumbing within a computer-aided design (“CAD”) application. A plugin can provide an element alignment option on a graphical user interface (“GUI”) of the CAD program. An anchor point from which to align elements is selected in the GUI so that the plugin can choose locations within a structure to run multiple elements in parallel alignment. The system can recommend an alignment plane based on the slopes of the selected multiple elements and provide a direction for a run of the multiple elements. The systems retrieve the specifications and parameters of each individual element to determine its spacing among the run of multiple elements. The run of multiple elements is displayed and manipulated by the plugin via the GUI.
