  • Patent number: 12342187
Abstract: A steering controller of an access point device can provide an optimized network environment or performance by steering a target client device to a basic service set (BSS) of a network device that is different from the current BSS of the target client device based on one or more non-associated client (NAC) link quality parameters to the BSS on the network device. The steering controller can identify the target client device based on a steering condition. A delta link quality can be determined based on the NAC link quality parameters and the target link quality parameters associated with the target client device. The steering controller can send one or more steering instructions to the target client device if a candidate BSS is identified based on a comparison between a determined maximum difference between a NAC link quality parameter and a target link quality parameter and an associated threshold.

  • Patent number: 11706638
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer-readable recording medium perform client optimized onboarding in a wireless network. A network controller of a gateway device determines a first received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of a new client device, receives a second RSSI of the new client device from each of one or more wireless extenders, and determines a strongest RSSI among the determined first RSSI and the received second RSSI from each of the one or more wireless extenders. The network controller of the gateway device receives an onboarding request with respect to any one or the gateway device and the one or more wireless extenders, and sends a command to proceed with an onboarding operation of the new client device to any one of the gateway device and the one or more wireless extenders having the strongest RSSI from the new client device.

  • Publication number: 20230051896
Abstract: To prevent a client device from being stranded, a steering controller of an access point device can provide an improved network environment or performance by steering a target client device to a basic service set (BSS) of a network device that is different from the current BSS of the target client device based on a first or a poor link quality threshold where non-associated client (NAC) link quality parameters for NAC network devices within the network environment, such as a mesh network, is not available. The steering controller can select or identify a candidate BSS and then send a steering query to the target client device. The steering controller can receive a response from the target client device that indicates whether the steering to the candidate BSS was successful or accepted by the targeted client device.

  • Patent number: 11004669
Abstract: A method and apparatus for analyzing samples using mass spectrometry are disclosed. The apparatus includes a reaction device configured to dissociate sample ions into fragments by reacting the sample ions with a charged species (e.g., electrons) such as through ECD, EID, or EIEIO. The kinetic energy of the charged species is such that the fragments may be detected and produce spectra that allow for the determination of isomeric species in the sample and the location of double bonds and/or the orientation of those double bonds within the sample molecules. The fragments may include radical fragments and non-radical fragments. Spectra resulting from analysis of the fragments may allow for the determination of the oxygen-radical fragments resulting from the dissociation of the sample molecules as confirmation of the presence of those radical fragments.

  • Publication number: 20210097549
Abstract: The disclosure provides methods, systems and computer program products that enable optimized direct benefit transfers from an originator to a beneficiary. Implementation of a direct benefit transfer involves receiving from an originator bank server a user identifier uniquely associated with the beneficiary, and direct benefit transfer payment amount. The user identifier is used to retrieve a payment account identifier associated with the beneficiary. The retrieved identifiers are used to route the payment account identifier and the transaction amount information to a beneficiary bank server that is identified. The beneficiary bank server responds to credit of the disbursement amount, by crediting the payment account associated with the beneficiary.

  • Publication number: 20200402784
Abstract: Known lipid molecules of a matrix are grouped into lipid classes and the lipid classes are further grouped into a pass-through group and a mobility separation group based on isobaric interferences. A separation system separates known lipid molecules from a matrix sample and an ion source ionizes the matrix sample. Two injections are performed. For the first injection a DMS device is put into passive mode, and for the second injection the DMS device is used to resolve isobaric interferences. A tandem mass spectrometer performs MRM scans of the pass-through group for the first injection and MRM scans of the mobility separation group for the second injection. A processor quantitates each lipid molecule in the matrix sample by comparing the MRM intensity values obtained for the first and second injections to MRM intensity and concentration values for known standards of the known lipid molecules of the matrix.

  • Publication number: 20190392450
Abstract: An authentication platform for authenticating an online user in a transaction without use of strong consumer authentication (SCA) includes receiving an authentication request message for a transaction involving a regulated market includes authentication data and a transaction value, extracting the authentication data from the authentication request message, generating risk-based authentication (RBA) result data, determining that a risk of fraud in the transaction satisfies a risk threshold established by the regulatory entity by evaluating the risk score relative to the risk threshold, determining that the transaction value is below a transaction limit set by the regulatory entity, the transaction limit identifies a threshold transaction value below which strong consumer authentication may be avoided for transactions satisfying the risk threshold, and transmitting an authentication response message authenticating the transaction without strong consumer authentication having been performed based on satisfying

  • Publication number: 20190377727
Abstract: A data recipe may be automatically generated to provide requested information to a user. After the information is requested, one or more data sources may be interrogated to discover a plurality of data types of data stored in the data sources. The data types may be categorized to define a plurality of data recipe ingredients that are likely to be needed to provide the requested information. The data recipe ingredients may be compared with a reference data recipe. Based on the results of the comparison, a new data recipe that provides the requested information may be made by either modifying the reference data recipe or by proceeding independently of the reference data recipe. The new data recipe may, for example, calculate a key performance indicator used to measure organizational performance.

  • Patent number: 9959840
Abstract: An apparatus, system, or method wirelessly sends an audio component of a multimedia channel to one or more wireless computing devices while a visual component of the multimedia channel is playing on a video monitor. The audio component may be packetized into data packets and broadcast via a network such that the data packets can be received and played by the wireless computing devices in synchronization with the visual component playing on the video monitor. A channel listing may inform the wireless computing devices what channels are available. A visual content that is not the visual component of the multimedia channel may be displayed on the wireless computing device while an audio component of the multimedia channel is streamed to the wireless computing device.
