Abstract: An exemplary method includes a computer-implemented media service system 1) dividing a unitary media program into a plurality of contiguous segments, 2) forming, from the plurality of contiguous segments, a plurality of discrete installments of the unitary media program, and 3) providing an end user of a media service with installment-by-installment access to the plurality of discrete installments of the unitary media program. In certain examples, the method may further include the system providing an option for selection by the end user to access the unitary media program by way of a normal-access mode or an installment-access mode. The normal-access mode may be configured to facilitate a start-to-finish consumption of the unitary media program in a single playback session, and the installment-access mode may be configured to facilitate installment-by-installment consumption of the discrete installments of the unitary media program in multiple, discrete playback sessions.

Abstract: A balun includes an unbalanced port having a single-ended terminal, a balanced port having first and second differential terminals, and first and second series resonant LC circuits. The first series resonant LC circuit is connected between the first and second differential terminals, and includes a first element of a first type and one element of a second type connected in series. The second series resonant LC circuit is connected between the single-ended terminal and ground, and includes second and third elements of the first type and the one element of the second type connected in series. The one element of the second type is shared by the first and second series resonant LC circuits. The first differential terminal is connected between the one element of the second type and the third element of the first type.

Abstract: A filter device is provided for filtering signals. The filter device includes multiple series resonators, multiple shunt resonators and multiple cross-coupling circuits. The series resonators are connected in series between an antenna and one of a transmitter or a receiver. The shunt resonators are respectively connected between at least one of the series resonators and a ground voltage. The cross-coupling circuits are configured to bypass at least two series resonators of the multiple series resonators and at least one shunt resonator of the multiple shunt resonators.

Abstract: A duplexer includes a transmit filter and an integrated receive filter configured to filter a receive signal from an antenna. The integrated receive filter includes a receive filter portion having multiple acoustic resonator filter elements and a matched balun configured to convert a single-ended input signal, received at a single-ended input of the matched balun from a single-ended output of the receive filter portion, to a differential output signal. The matched balun being is located in place of a phase matching inductor of the receive filter portion, eliminating need for the phase matching inductor of the receive filter portion and a phase matching inductor of the matched balun. Impedance at the single-ended input of the matched balun includes a complex conjugate of impedance at the single-ended output of the receive filter portion.

Abstract: In a floor drain assembly of the type including a floor drain having a collar surrounding a drainage opening installed in a recess in a floor, an improvement is provided. The improvement includes a skirt extending about the collar and secured to the collar by a fastener extending through the skirt and into the collar but not into the floor. The skirt defines an opening sized to receive a treatment material therein. A lid is configured for selectively engaging with the opening for allowing selective placement of treatment material in an area beneath the skirt.

Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed for the customization of electronic equipment of which portable audio players, portable disc players, portable digital games and laptop computers are representative. The electronic equipment may be fitted with a substantially transparent faceplate that may cover removable inserts. These inserts may be customizable to provide unique decorative appearances to the electronic equipment upon which they may be fitted. Decorative designs may either be preprinted on the inserts or a user may produce a customized design.
