  • Publication number: 20070137660
Abstract: A quick mounting ashtray holder that can be rapidly and reversibly mounted in a car. The invented ashtray holder secures an ashtray such that neither the ashtray nor the holder rattles, even when the car is on a rough road. The ashtray holder has a bracket with a platform portion, an angled portion, and a base portion. The platform portion has a top side and a bottom side, where said platform portion provides a mounting surface. The angled portion determines the orientation between the platform portion and the base portion. The base portion base has a front side and back side, where the back side has a fastening means for quick mounting the base portion to a vehicle. There is a frame for receiving and holding an ashtray. The frame has structural supporting and restraining elements, gripping pads, and mounting components for attaching the frame to the platform portion.

  • Publication number: 20070138701
Abstract: During injection molding of a plastic product having a base wall and a sidewall, fluid plastic material is injected into a base-wall section of a mold cavity. The base-wall section of the mold cavity includes at least one flow guide that is defined by a first mold part, a second mold part, and a third mold part that is movable relative to the first and second mold parts to either decrease or increase the conduction of injected plastic material through the at least one flow guide. Conduction within the at-least-one flow guide is adjusted dynamically while the injected plastic material is being conducted into the sidewall section of the mold cavity by moving the movable third mold part in response to sensed variations in injection pressures in different portions of the sidewall section of the mold cavity.

  • Publication number: 20070057362
Abstract: A method for optimizing area array device pin utilization and reducing the number of layers on a multilayered PCB comprising: preparing a package of BGA pin-out maps which anticipate the effect of existing fixed pins and derives the resulting optimum pin location assignment. Each pin-out map includes an indication of the best routing for circuits from a given component to be mounted to a PCB. Applying the package of pin-out maps during an area array pin assignment phase, thereby making an area array package capable of supporting the optimum routing configuration proposed by the pin-out maps. Applying the package of pin-out maps during a PCB design phase so that the optimum circuit routing to each pin is achieved, thereby completing the strategy layed out by the proposed pin-out maps, resulting in a lower number of PCB layers.

  • Publication number: 20070005596
Abstract: A pattern-based data matching system matches pattern-based data. The data matching system generates a regular expression pattern for input datasets and describes similarity measures between the generated patterns. The data matching system analyzes an input dataset in terms of symbol classes, generalizing input values into a general pattern to allow identification or extrapolation of overlap between input datasets, aiding in matching fields in databases that are being merged and in learning a pattern for an input dataset. For each sequence of data values, the present system computes a compact pattern describing the sequence. Embodiments of the data matching system comprise noise reduction and repetitive pattern discovery in the input dataset and calculation of recall and precision of the generated pattern.

  • Publication number: 20060291965
Abstract: A clamp pin tool holder for clamping an insert in a tool holder includes a bore for receiving a clamp pin and a bore for receiving a lock screw. The clamp pin includes a cam portion with angled surfaces. The lock screw is rotatably mounted to the bore of the tool holder and includes angled surfaces for engaging the angled surfaces of the clamp pin. When the lock screw is rotated in one direction, one angled surface on the lock screw and one angled surface on the clamp pin engage each other an acts as a conical wedge to cause the clamp pin to move relative to the lock screw. When the lock screw is rotated in the opposite direction, another angled surface on the lock screw engages a different angled surface on the clamp pin in a similar manner to cause the clamp pin to move in an opposite direction.

  • Publication number: 20060157206
Abstract: A parking area entrance or exit barrier includes a control system which receives inputs from various accessories associated with the operation of the barrier, and which provides control signals to the various accessories of the barrier. One of the accessories includes a sensor attached to the barrier. The sensor senses an accident event, such as contact between the barrier and a vehicle. • Publication number: 20060101721
Abstract: An active oxygen management, fire encirclement, and operational verification system. The system includes multiple doors and enclosing interior spaces, a programmable door controller, and at least one sensor associated with each of the doors. The sensors monitor predetermined conditions associated with the associated door. Each door controller is interconnected with each other door controller and contains instructions for communicating messages and commands to other specific door controllers if one or more of the predetermined conditions is determined to be an abnormal condition. If the abnormal condition is sensed by a sensor associated with one door, the programmable door controller associated with that door executes a predetermined set of instructions issuing a command to the programmable door controller associated with at least a second door. This command from the first door controller causes the second programmable door controller to execute a predetermined instruction set affecting the second door.
