Abstract: The embodiments relate to configuring and updating quality of service (QOS) features for a router, especially for routers used in a home network or local area network. The QOS features are autonomous and do not require user configuration or intervention. The QOS features may be triggered during periods of congestion. Popular traffic services, such as voice, video streaming, and gaming, are preloaded into the router so that they are recognized automatically. In some embodiments, the router employs a programmed table to identify traffic sessions. The table may be updated remotely by an update service. The table may also be updated locally by a user via a client coupled to the router.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of limiting access time to a computer network for client computing devices may comprise disposing an access controlling device such as router between the computer network and the client computing devices such that the client computing devices can only access the network through the access controlling device, at least while within an area of coverage thereof. A unique identifier may be stored for client computing devices whose access to the network is to be limited and a selectable allowable cumulative network access time period may be stored for at least some of these client computing devices. Using at least the unique identifiers, the cumulative network usage time may be tracked for each of the client computing devices. The access controlling device may then prevent further network access to those client computing devices whose tracked cumulative network usage time exceeds the selectable allowable cumulative network access time period.

Abstract: An adjustable dumbbell device includes a handle bar, a housing attached to one end of the handle bar, a weight element engageable into the housing, a pawl slidably received and engaged in the housing, and an actuating device rotatably engaged onto the handle bar and having a cam member for engaging with the pawl and for actuating the pawl to engage with the weight element and for detachably anchoring the weight element to the housing and the handle bar. The housing includes a guide channel for slidably engaging with the pawl, and a guide pin engaged with the pawl for guiding and limiting the pawl to slide relative to the housing.

Abstract: An adjustable dumbbell device includes a handle bar, and a weight member having an engaging member for engaging with the handle bar and for detachably attaching the weight member to the handle bar, and a spring biased latch engaged with the handle bar and the weight member for detachably securing the weight member to the handle bar. The handle bar includes a slot for engaging with the engaging member of the weight member. The spring biased latch is engaged in the handle bar and extended into the slot of the handle bar. The weight member includes an engaging recess or element for engaging with the spring biased latch of the end member of the handle bar.

Abstract: A hybrid plug connector including an insulative housing defining a cavity to receive an optical fiber assembly therein, and a plurality of passageways to receive a plurality of terminals therein. A printed circuit board is located behind the terminals and connected to the terminals. An electrical cable is mounted to a rear portion of the circuit board. The whole optical fiber assembly is received within the housing and is somewhat back and forth moveable along a front-to-back direction for buffering for compliantly coupling with another optical fiber assembly built within the complementary receptacle connector when the plug connector is inserted into the complementary receptacle connector. A lens module is formed on the optical fiber assembly for collimating the light beams from the optical fibers.

Abstract: The present invention relates a new process to synthesize 1-((4-(4-Fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indol-5-yloxy)-6-methoxyquinolin-7-yloxy)methyl)cyclopropanamine (AL3818). A stable crystalline form of A13818 has been prepared. Salts and their crystalline forms of AL3818 have been also prepared. Anti-cancer and optometric activities of AL3818 and its salts have been further tested. New process has been outlined in Scheme I.

Abstract: The present invention relates a new process to synthesize 6-(7-((1-aminocyclo-propyl)-methoxy)-6-methoxyquinolin-4-yloxy)-N-methyl-1-naphthamide (AL3810) by deprotection of substituted benzyl 1-((6-methoxy-4-(5-(methylcarbamoyl)naphthalen-2-yloxy)quinolin-7-yloxy)-methyl)cyc-lopropylcarbamate (Formula I) under a diluted or weak acidic condition. A stable crystalline form of 6-(7-((1-aminocyclo-propyl)-methoxy)-6-methoxyquinolin-4-yloxy)-N-methyl-1-naphthamide has also been prepared.

The router may determine whether a congestion level of a first interface of the set of network interfaces exceeds a threshold level. Responsive to the congestion level exceeding the threshold level, the router activates a traffic analyzer configured to identify a first session that is present in the data traffic and inserts a set of packets that are part of the first session into a first queue of the set of queues via an expedited communications path over a bus. The router also forwards the set of packets in accordance with the desired quality of service.
