    Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes: adjusting a first flight control device of a rotorcraft to control flight around a first axis of the rotorcraft, the first flight control device exercising flight control authority around the first axis of the rotorcraft; detecting a failure of the first flight control device; transitioning at least a portion of the flight control authority around the first axis of the rotorcraft from the first flight control device to a second flight control device of the rotorcraft, the transitioning being performed automatically in response to detecting the failure of the first flight control device; and adjusting the second flight control device to control flight around the first axis of the rotorcraft, the second flight control device being adjusted by a first control process when the rotorcraft is in a first flight mode, the second flight control device being adjusted by a second control process when the rotorcraft is in a second flight mode.

    Abstract: An electrical connector with a housing having a mounting opening with a mounting projection. An outwardly facing wall of the mounting projection has at least one detent. A fixed member has a fixed member opening. The fixed member opening has an inner surface with at least one deflectable member which extends from the inner surface into the fixed member opening. A gap is provided between the inner surface of the fixed member opening and the outwardly facing wall of the mounting projection. The mounting projections are able to float radially with the gap. The at least one deflectable member cooperates with the first detent to retain the electrical connector assembly in a pre-staged position.

    Abstract: A method for forming an anode of a sodium ion battery includes a step of heat treating the red phosphorus precursor and reduced graphene oxide powder at a first temperature that vaporizes the red phosphorus precursor such that red phosphorus structures grow on the reduced graphene oxide powder. Another method for forming an anode of a sodium ion battery includes steps of placing a red phosphorus precursor and a graphene oxide precursor in a reaction chamber; establishing a reducing environment in the reaction chamber; and heating the red phosphorus precursor and a graphene oxide precursor to a first temperature that is sufficient temperature to form a composite of red phosphorus and reduced graphene oxide. Characteristically, red phosphorus deposition and graphene oxide reduction are completed simultaneously in a single-step heat treatment. A method for making a black phosphorus-composite for sodium-ion batter anodes is also provided.
