  • Patent number: 11435424
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system can include a processor and a memory. The processor can receive an acquired magnetic resonance (MR) dataset having a first signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The processor can extract, from the acquired MR dataset, a first set of values corresponding to a first variable having a second SNR and a second set of values corresponding to a second variable. The processor can apply a constraint function that includes a function of the first variable and the second variable. The processor can minimize a cost function according to the constraint function to generate a cost function solution. The processor can input the first variable and the second variable into the cost function solution to generate a modified first variable having a third SNR, the third SNR being greater than the second SNR.

  • Patent number: 11421384
Abstract: Provided are tissue webs and products that have a modest degree of surface texture, but are still soft. In certain instances the tissue products and webs may also have good sheet bulk and low stiffness. For example, the tissue products may have good softness, such as a TS7 value (measured using the EMTEC Tissue Softness Analyzer) less than 11.0, and a textured surface, such as an R2 value from about 11,000 to about 20,000 (measured using an OpTiSurf tester). The foregoing tissue products may have a sheet bulk greater than about 8.0 cc/g and a Stiffness Index less than about 15.0. In certain instances the tissue product and webs may be through-air dried and may be either creped or uncreped.

  • Publication number: 20220218864
Abstract: A far-UVC device for eliminating airborne pathogens includes a plenum, a fan, an LED array, and a filter. Air enters through an inlet and passes through the plenum until it exits out the outlet. The filter is located within the plenum adjacent to either the outlet or the inlet. The LED array emits a UV light on the passing air to inactivate airborne pathogens. The fan regulates the flow rate of the air through the plenum. The fan maintains a positive flow of air through the device and eventually exhausts the disinfected air out the outlet. One or more baffles are located within the plenum to direct the air flow through the device.
