  • Publication number: 20180369491
Abstract: Medical delivery device (10) comprises a rod element (30) and a dosage member (60). The rod element (30) has a stem (310) with a longitudinal axis (380), a first thread arrangement (3320, 3330), a distal end and a proximal end. The dosage member (60) comprises a delivery orifice (620) and a chamber body (610) with a distal end, a proximal end and a hollow interior. The stem (310) of the rod element (30) extends into the interior of the chamber body (610) of the dosage member (60) and the delivery orifice (620) is arranged adjacent to the proximal end of the stem (310) of the rod element (30). In a dosing status of the medical delivery device (10), the rod element (30) is movable along its longitudinal axis (380) relative to the delivery orifice (620) of the dosage member (60) by the first thread arrangement (3320, 3330) of the stem (310) of the rod element (30) and a second thread arrangement (650) travelling along each other.

  • Publication number: 20180361074
Abstract: A dosing device includes a rod element and a shell. The rod element has a stem with a longitudinal axis and a first thread arrangement. The shell has a second thread arrangement. The first thread arrangement of the rod element or the second thread arrangement of the shell includes a thread. The first thread arrangement of the rod element and the second thread arrangement of the shell engage. The rod element is movable along the longitudinal axis of its stem by rotating the shell and the rod element relative to each other causing the first thread arrangement of the rod element and the second thread arrangement of the shell to travel along each other. A dosage chamber is formed by moving the rod element along the longitudinal axis of its stem. The volume of the dosage chamber is varied by moving the rod element along the longitudinal axis of its stem. An inclination angle (?, ?) of the thread varies along the thread.

  • Publication number: 20160342817
Abstract: A system and method for controlling access to portable computing devices are disclosed. Identification information of a user is obtained and a portable computing device to be assigned to a particular user is selected from the plurality of portable computing devices. An association of the user and the selected portable computing device is recorded within a database. The selected portable computing device is then unlocked for use by the user. The portable computing devices may be secured in a multi-bay charging station with each bay including a mechanical lock which is controlled independently of the mechanical lock for each of the other bays. The checked-in portable computing device may be locked in the multi-bay charging station and the user and the checked-in portable computing device may then be dissociated.

  • Patent number: 9256502
Abstract: A system including a DCU with a DMS located on the first node, where the DMS is associated with an interrupt receive register. The system further includes a second DCU located on second node that includes a GMS located on the second node, where the GMS is associated with an interrupt dispatch register. The GMS is configured to identify the DMS, determine a payload to transmit to DMS, issue cross-calls using the interrupt dispatch register, where a cross-call is issued for each non-zero bit in the payload, and issue a cross-call including a completion vector. The DCU is configured to receive the cross-calls from the GMS, in response to each of the cross-calls, set a corresponding bit-location in the second interrupt receive register to one, and after receiving the completion vector, use a current state of the interrupt receive register to determine a physical address.
