  • Publication number: 20250049616
Abstract: A diaper guard device is provided. The device is designed for placement on a user's body beneath a diaper to shield the genital area from contact with waste, thereby preventing rashes and infections. The device comprises a body made from a medical-grade, absorbent, and anti-bacterial fabric material, wherein the body generally features a first end with one or two tabs and a second end with at least one tab for secure attachment. These tabs, along with a skin-safe, water-resistant, or waterproof adhesive fastener located on the rear surface of the body, facilitate the attachment of the device to the user's skin, ensuring that it remains in place to provide the intended protective barrier. During use, the device does not inhibit waste movement within the diaper but effectively prevents direct contact of waste with the genital area, thereby reducing the risk of skin irritation and infections.

  • Publication number: 20240399066
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user interface member for a drug delivery device comprising a light-emitting region configured to be illuminated by at least one light-emitting element in order to emit light from the light-emitting region and to visually indicate an operation state of the drug delivery device to a user. The light-emitting region comprises two or more subregions which are illuminable independently of each other by the at least one light-emitting element in order to present different illumination patterns to a user via the light-emitting regions. The different illumination patterns indicate different operation states of the drug delivery device to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230347065
Abstract: An electronic system comprising: at least one user interface member configured to be manipulated by a user for performing a dose setting operation of the drug delivery device and/or for performing a dose delivery operation for delivering a set dose, an electronic control unit configured to control operation of the electronic system, an electrical signaling unit configured to provide at least one electrical signal when the user interface member is manipulated, and a manipulation evaluation unit configured to evaluate the at least one electrical signal of the signaling unit to determine whether the manipulation of the user interface member indicated by the at least one signal of the signaling unit qualifies as an activation operation. The electronic control unit is configured to switch the electronic system into a higher power consumption when the manipulation evaluation unit has confirmed that the manipulation qualifies as activation operation.

  • Patent number: 11670827
Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a waveguide electromechanical relay switch having a rotor with transmission paths and an axis of rotation parallel to the base plane combined with an actuator adapted to the configuration. A 4-pol switch design enables compensation of fault cases in a relatively shortened length of transmission line, reducing potential RF loss. In one embodiment, a 4-pol rotor includes an offset transmission path that enables crossing of another path on the same rotor, providing increased functionality and fault-case recovery.
