  • Publication number: 20060046854
Abstract: A method which enables game developers to capture user actions and to automatically solicit user feedback as game events occur, so that game developers can then use this data to “tune” the game to improve a user's experience is disclosed herein. To develop game data, function calls and user inputs are recorded in a log file. Also, players can provide feedback on game play after predetermined events occur (e.g., player finishes level) or through a pause menu. By allowing a development team to better understand a user's experience in game play, the game can be tuned to improve the user's experience.

  • Publication number: 20050074050
Abstract: Hot melt adhesive sensing systems and methods including detecting (410) multiple areas of a target, for example, a hot adhesive material, by sensing changes in temperature with a corresponding number of thermal sensors, summing (420) an output of the thermal sensors, and evaluating (430) the summed output by comparing the summed output with a reference, the results of which may be assessed relative to a specified tolerance.

  • Patent number: 4076136
Abstract: A method and apparatus for temporarily straightening and spinning of pipes wherein at least three sets of rollers are used, each set including four rollers of which two are rotatably mounted in fixed locations and the other two of which are movable by hydraulic driving means, one or more of the fixed location rollers being drivable; collars, each made of three hinged segments, are used around the pipe, which collars are circumferentially stronger than the pipe wall; by pressing the movable rollers against the collars, the collars are held closed and the pipe is held straight while being spun. The invention is particularly although not exclusively applicable for use in a process of lining of pipes.
