  • Publication number: 20110305011
Abstract: A flexible, integrally formed single piece light emitting diode (LED) light wire that provides a smooth, uniform lighting effect from all directions of the LED light wire. The integrally formed single piece LED light wire contains a conductive base comprising first and second bus elements formed from a conductive material. The bus elements distribute power from a power source to LEDs that are mounted on the first and second bus elements so that it draws power from and adds mechanical stability to the first and second bus elements. The flexible, integrally formed single piece LED light wire is assembled so that the first and second bus elements are connected to each other prior to the LED being mounted and such integrally formed single piece LED light wire is formed without a substrate.

  • Publication number: 20090300654
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with collection access are described. One example system includes a data store to store a set of listener object identifiers. A listener object identifier identifies a member of a set (or collection) of listener objects. A Listener object initiates an action in response to an occurrence of an event associated with a member of a set of external logics. A member of the set of external logics invokes a notify process to trigger actions. The example system may also include storing the listener object identifiers in an array to allow instances of the notify process to operate in parallel.

  • Patent number: 5123582
Abstract: A connective tape stand which is characterized by a ring tenon and a ring mortise separately provided on the outside of two side walls of the tape stand. A plurality of single-unit tape stands may be connected one another by engaging their ring tenons and ring mortises with corresponding ring mortises and ring tenons on adjoining tape stand. With a series of connected tape stands, tapes of diverse colors and patterns may be conveniently provided for the users to choose freely. The connective tape stand is also characterized by two flanges extended from the rear half circumference of two tape support rings inside the side walls to an adequate width. With these extended flanges, tape reel mounted thereon may be more steadily held without slipping off the tape support rings when the tape is pulled.

  • Patent number: 4853208
Abstract: A method of detoxifying hazardous wastes containing mercury, zinc, selenium, arsenic, antimony, or thallium by mixing the waste with silicate and a setting agent which together form an alkaline silicate matrix. An additive other than the silicate and setting agent is mixed with the waste, prior to the matrix setting, to form a complex with the mercury, zinc, selenium, arsenate, antimony, thallium, or copper that is substantially insoluble in the environment of the alkaline silicate matrix. The alkaline silicate matrix thereby binds wastes which could otherwise leach out to contaminate the environment.
