A shaft seal is disposed between the radial slide bearing and the motor chamber. The rotor is formed in a cup shape, the inner surface of which faces the shaft seal and is fixed to the shaft in an axially overlapping manner. The motor chamber has an opening to the atmosphere which is closed by a liquid-tight and vapor-permeable pressure equalizing membrane. The resulting flue gas is withdrawn via an open space situated above the particle layer and is subjected to a secondary incineration in a secondary reaction zone or secondary incineration chamber. Expanding upon the prior art, the aim of the invention is enable a high throughput for the incineration material while resulting in a low level of nitrogen oxide production, and to increase the productivity for the incineration of organic waste material. To these ends, the invention provides that the fluidized particle layer (3) is concentrated with oxygen in such a manner that a mean oxygen content ranging from 0-3 vol. % is set in the open space (6).

    Abstract: A relatively simple pressure balanced high flow exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve includes an actuator and a separately formed valve assembly retained to the actuator by a deformed lip. The valve body has dual seats controlled by axially spaced heads which are pressure balanced when closed and allow high gas flow when open. The valve body and the associated valve shaft, or portions thereof, are formed of materials having similar coefficients of thermal expansion so that the shaft and body experience similar thermal growth and good seating of the spaced valves is maintained regardless of gas temperature variations. Thickened portions at the valve seats comprise annular ends of a control portion which resist distortion of the seats. The valve body is configured for installation in a cylindrical bore or recess of an associated manifold or other gas passage defining member.
