  • Patent number: 11911074
Abstract: A strut measurement and feedback device and corresponding systems and methods for use with an external fixator are disclosed. The strut measurement and feedback device can be attached to a strut of an external fixator. The strut measurement and feedback device can confirm that the strut measurement and feedback device is attached to a proper strut to be adjusted. The strut measurement and feedback device can provide real-time feedback to an individual as the length of the strut is being adjusted to ensure the length adjustment complies with a prescription for the length of the strut. As a result, a patient can more effectively comply with the prescription as adjustments to the strut are made over time, thereby improving the likelihood of successful bone alignment.

  • Patent number: 11898523
Abstract: A fuel system that provides fuel to an internal combustion engine includes a fuel tank and a fuel pump configured to receive fluid from the fuel tank and supply pressurized fluid to the engine via a fuel filter. The filter receives fuel from the pump and provides filtered fuel to the engine. The filter is disposed in a filter chamber of a filter housing. The filter housing includes a fuel inlet that directs fuel received from the fuel pump into the filter chamber, a fuel outlet that directs filtered fuel received from the fuel filter to the fuel supply line, and a bypass outlet that directs fuel not drawn into the fuel filter by the internal combustion engine to a fuel pressure regulator. • Patent number: 11841847
Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for facilitating the implementation of declarative transaction control. A database transaction control configuration associated with an element of a process flow can be obtained via a graphical user interface (GUI) and stored in association the element. The database transaction control configuration indicates whether a pending database transaction is to be committed to a database prior to executing a set of computer-readable instructions corresponding to the element. During execution of the process flow, the database transaction control configuration is accessed and it is determined whether a currently pending database transaction is to be committed to a database prior to executing a set of computer-readable instructions corresponding to the element.

  • Patent number: 11656188
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for scanning an item utilizing an X-ray scanner in order to facilitate a determination of whether the X-ray radiation penetrated through the entirety of the scanned item. Various embodiments comprise a conveying mechanism, an X-ray emitter, a detector, and an X-ray penetration grid (XPG). The XPG may comprise a radiopaque grid that may serve as a reference for determining whether radiation passes through the scanned item, the grid oriented such that the grid members are neither parallel nor perpendicular to the direction of travel. Such orientation may minimize or eliminate “ghosted” radiation signals included in a visual display of the radiation received by the detector. A scanned item may be oriented with the XPG such that radiation emitted by the X-ray emitter that passes through a portion of the scanned item must also pass through the XPG before being received by the detector.

  • Publication number: 20220319022
Abstract: A computer implemented method of decoding a signal. The method includes receiving a signal (which may be an electromagnetic signal), sampling the received signal to generate an input waveform having magnitude and phase components, applying a transform operation to the input waveform to generate a first decoded signal, and outputting the first decoded signal. The transform operation includes pre-processing the input waveform to generate a mirrored inverted waveform and applying a continuous wavelet transform to the mirrored inverted waveform to generate the first decoded signal. This allows inversion of the frequency and temporal resolution of the continuous wavelet transform, thereby enabling improved temporal and frequency decoding of a signal. The method is particularly suitable for signal filters and filtering units.

  • Publication number: 20220123844
Abstract: A method (10) of regenerating a signal is provided. The method involves sampling (13) a received signal to obtain a plurality of samples each having an associated magnitude. The samples are sorted (15) to obtain a statistical distribution (which may be a histogram). Known distributions are fitted to the statistical distribution using a fitting operation (16, 17), and for each a measure of similarity is obtained. A matched distribution is then determined from the measures of similarity (18), that is subsequently used to regenerate a signal (12) that itself is statistically representative of the originally sampled signal. Such a method mitigates the storage burden associated with the recording and subsequent regeneration of representative wireless signal environments for wireless device testing. Also relates to an apparatus for the same.
