  • Publication number: 20220168531
Abstract: A respiratory mask can have a frame supporting a sealing arrangement. Various features of the frame and sealing arrangement can improve comfort and reduce the occurrence of pressure sores. The frame can include cheek supports that have a large surface area configured to spread loads over a greater area of the patient's face and therefore reduce the forces applied to the face and the occurrence of point loads. The seal can have a main body that includes a spring with a silicone skin, wherein the spring applies a substantially constant force to the face and/or nares of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20220149888
Abstract: Embodiments for port reconfiguration for passive intermodulation interference mitigation are presented herein. A base station device comprises a signal processing component comprising a passive intermodulation interference component and an antenna configuration component. The passive intermodulation interference component determines passive intermodulation interference corresponding to uplink signals that have been received, via a configurable cellular antenna array of the base station device, from respective wireless devices of a group of wireless devices that have been communicatively coupled to the base station device. The antenna configuration component selects a defined configuration of a group of cellular antenna ports of the configurable cellular antenna array to facilitate a reduction of the passive intermodulation interference corresponding to the uplink signals.

  • Publication number: 20220126054
Abstract: A blower unit for use as part of an integrated blower/humidification system is described. The blower unit has an outer casing, which encloses and forms part of the blower unit, the casing including an air inlet vent. The blower unit further includes a humidifier compartment for receiving a humidifier unit with a separate gases inlet and outlet, the compartment having a heater base for heating the contents of the humidifier unit. The compartment also has a blower inlet port which aligns with the humidifier unit inlet in use, the blower providing a gases path through the casing between the inlet vent and the inlet port. The blower unit also includes a fan for providing a pressurised gases stream along the gases path, and a power supply unit for powering the fan. The gases path is routed over the power supply unit in order to provide a cooling air flow.

  • Patent number: 11273281
Abstract: A humidifier heater base assembly has a heater plate with a thermally conductive portion and a perimeter portion around a perimeter of the heater plate. A resilient member has an inner part attached to the perimeter portion and an outer part adapted to provide a resilient perimeter flange around at least part and preferably the whole of the perimeter portion. The resilient member fixes the heater base to the humidifier by the resilient perimeter flange such that the heater plate and the inner part can move relative to the humidifier in a direction substantially transverse to the general plane of the heater plate. At least a portion of the resilient perimeter flange remains stationary relative to the humidifier.

  • Publication number: 20220038230
Abstract: A system includes a base band unit pooling component that determines, via a base band unit pool of base station devices, respective uplink channel estimates of an uplink channel wirelessly coupling, using frequency division duplexing via respective modular antenna elements, a user equipment to the base band unit pool. A downlink channel estimation component of the system derives, based on the respective uplink channel estimates, a downlink channel estimate of a downlink channel wirelessly coupling, using the frequency division duplexing via a portion of the respective modular antenna elements corresponding to a base station device of the base band unit pool, the base station device to the user equipment. In turn, the system generates, using the downlink channel estimate, a group of downlink sector beams to be transmitted to the user equipment using the downlink channel via the portion of the respective modular antenna elements.

  • Publication number: 20220031993
Abstract: A humidification system for delivering humidified gases to a user can include a heater base, humidification chamber having an inlet, outlet, and associated fluid conduit, and breathing circuit including a supply conduit, inspiratory conduit, and optional expiratory conduit. The humidification system can include various features to help make set-up less difficult and time-consuming. For example, the supply conduit, inspiratory conduit, and optional expiratory conduit can be coupled into a one-piece circuit to aid set-up. Various components can be color-coded and can have corresponding structures to indicate which components should be connected to one another during set-up. Such features can also help make the set-up process more intuitive for an operator, which can reduce the need for specialized training and reduce the number of potential errors.
