Patent number: 11965686Abstract: A control system for a cooling system configured to selectively operate one or both of a condenser fan an evaporator fan in a reverse direction RD, measure power draw at the motor against configuration data and fan motor profiles, and determine if a blockage has occurred before the static pressure has reached a critical point static pressure where the efficiency, performance, and cooling capability of the cooling system is hindered and maintenance is required to clear the blockage. By determining if blockage has occurred before the static pressure has reached the critical point static pressure, an alert or corrective action can be taken.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Regal Beloit America, Inc.Inventors: Connor Silva, Paul Mullin, Ramin Rezaei, Bin Yang

Publication number: 20150251231Abstract: A landfill 10 is lined with an impermeable liner material at 12 and filled with waste, such as household waste. When the landfill is full, it is capped by a cap 14. Degradation of the body of waste material within the landfill creates leachate liquid as a byproduct. Without intervention, the leachate will form a layer 16 of saturated waste material at the bottom of the landfill 10. An extraction well 22 allows leachate to be drawn from the landfill 10 by a pump 26. Injection wells 24 allow leachate to be reintroduced into the landfill 10. Various sensors 36, 38, 40 take measurements associated with the wells 24. Leachate delivery is controlled in accordance with the values obtained. The obtained values may include the leachate head in the well and/or the volume or rate of leachate delivery to the well and/or the elapsed time since commencement of leachate delivery to the well and/or the rate of dispersion of the leachate into the landfill from the well.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2013Publication date: September 10, 2015Applicant: C.P.S. Publication number: 20150217347Abstract: A landfill 24 has an impermeable liner 26 at its base and sides, and is capped at 28 by a multi-layer cap. The body of waste material 46 within the landfill 24 will undergo degradation. One byproduct will be leachate. Sediment 37 will develop at the bottom of the landfill 24 in the absence of any intervention. Extraction wells 38 extend from the surface (above the cap 28) down to the bottom of the landfill 24. A pump 54 allows leachate to be drawn from the waste material 46, through the extraction well 38. Leachate is extracted at a rate sufficient to create turbulence within the body of waste material 46. The turbulence serves to entrain sediment in the leachate for extraction of the entrained sediment with the leachate.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2013Publication date: August 6, 2015Applicant: C.P.S. Publication number: 20060232139Abstract: There is described a programmable electronic timer for control of household or industrial appliances, machines or lighting. The user of said device operates only a single momentary push button to perform all operation and programming steps. Optionally the device includes an indicator light for status feedback to the user. The single button serves as an on/off switch and programming input. When pressed the button turns the connected device off if it was previously on or alternately turns the connected device on if it was previously off. On and off button actions and the time during a 24 hour day that each occurred are recorded by the device. This record becomes the programmed sequence in the timer. On subsequent days the device repeats all on and off recorded events without user action.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2005Publication date: October 19, 2006Inventor: Paul Mullin

Publication number: 20030236540Abstract: The present invention teaches an improved ear cleaner consisting of one piece of solid flat plastic, inexpensively molded or stamped to an elongate oval shape with one aperture at each end to form a loop. The present invention teaches that an improved ear cleaner may be made of a length such that it becomes difficult for the user to damage their ear drum. The invention further teaches that an improved ear cleaner may be made having a rounded shape and a soft consistency such that should the ear cleaning head (a thin and soft loop) impact the ear drum, it will bend rather than injure the ear drum. The present invention further teaches a method of manufacturing the ear cleaner which provides a very inexpensive method of making a one piece ear cleaner requiring no further assembly after manufacture. The present invention further teaches that the ear cleaner may advantageously be stamped rather than molded for further decrease in cost of manufacture.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2002Publication date: December 25, 2003Inventors: Jorge Mendez, Paul A.
