  • Patent number: 8857660
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved system and method for dispensing solid food product containers. It comprises a shaped dispensing tube (62) of a predetermined length, having a plurality of support clips (76) arranged inside the dispensing tube (62) for holding a stack of solid food product containers (70) in place within the tube (62). The dispensing tube (62) preferably includes a bracket (68) for mounting the entire device on a wall or the like. A nested stack of containers (70) is fed into the preferably open top (78) of the dispensing tube (62) until the bottommost container engages (or is engaged by) the support clips (76). This results in the bottommost container extending a predetermined distance below the bottom of the dispensing tube (62). By minimizing the amount the bottommost container extends below the dispensing tube (62), a user's ability to take more than one solid food container at a time is greatly minimized.

  • Patent number: 8596031
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wrap dispensing station and a method for wrapping food products for storage. A selected size roll of material used to wrap food products is mounted in a housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is fed through a slot in the housing. At least one roll of labels is staged in a storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the labels is fed through a label feeding system. At least one writing implement is preferably staged in the storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is pulled to a selected length to be used to wrap a food product. A cutting apparatus is used to cut the selected length of material. The food product is wrapped with the selected length of material. A label is removed from the roll of labels, marked with the staged writing implement and placed on the wrapped food product.

  • Publication number: 20120267387
Abstract: A transformable towel dispenser is presented that can be quickly transformed from a low profile shipping form into full, ready to dispense form in a substantially tool free manner. The transformability of the dispenser allows the dispenser to be shipped and stored in much smaller space than that for ready to dispense units. Alternatively, more dispensers can be shipped in the same volume container.

  • Publication number: 20120181371
Abstract: A web dispenser is fitted with a crank that extends from the side or below the dispenser and is ergonomically shaped to receive the edge of a user's hand rather than the palm side of the user's hand. The crank interfaces with an advance mechanism in the dispenser that advances web material from the roll as the crank is pushed downward. The crank has a curved body that forms a recess or depression for receiving the edge of the user's hand.

  • Patent number: 7931228
Abstract: The present invention is a dispenser that, in one embodiment, includes a support for a roll of web material, a drive roller cooperating with an idler roller to feed web material supported by the roll support, and a mouth through which the web material is dispensed which has a floor but not a roof such that the web material does not jam when dispensed through the mouth. In another embodiment, the mouth is slot shaped. In various embodiments of the invention with either a slot shaped mouth or a wide mouth without a roof, a sensor is provided for selectively activating a drive motor in response to an incursion into a sensing field, wherein the sensor comprises an infrared emitter and receiver.

  • Publication number: 20100187248
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus, kit and method for dispensing lids one at a time in a sanitary and effective manner. A stack of lids is placed inside a tube and substantially held in the tube by a cover piece. Preferably the cover piece is concave in shape and is opposed by a concave platform that biases the stack of lids towards said cover piece. The bottommost lid of the stack is available for dispensing while the next lid in the stack is restrained in place, preferably by elements associated with the cover piece.
