A user profile or user social network is searched to identify a message from the user about the participant. The message may be combined with the object in the augmented reality field of view.

Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to a desalination system. In some embodiments, the desalination system includes one or more recycle seawater systems configured to receive one or more concentrated brine streams produced by the desalination system and generate one or more recycle brine streams using the one or more concentrated brine streams and desalinated water.

Abstract: A method for generating and maintaining hierarchical tags with community-based ratings is provided. Tags for media streams are organized into a hierarchical format. Users may select tags from the hierarchical tag database that describes a particular multimedia content. If the user is unable to locate a desired tag, the user may submit a new tag. Upon submission of the new tag, a librarian approves the tag before storing and placing the tag in the hierarchical tag database. Users are also able to rate the quality of the association between the tag and the multimedia content. If a tag is rated low, the tag may be removed from the hierarchical tag database. If the tag is rated highly, display of the tag in a list of tags becomes more prominent.

Abstract: A device is specified for ascertaining a movement corridor for lightweight aircraft. The device includes a first interface, a second interface, and a processing unit. The first interface is configured to receive aircraft data relating to the lightweight aircraft, wherein the aircraft data at least contain flight properties and functions of the lightweight aircraft. The second interface is configured to receive weather data from a weather information source, wherein the weather data contain weather predictions and also current weather data and contain at least air movements in an altitude profile between a maximum altitude of the lightweight aircraft and the Earth's surface. The processing unit is configured to compare the aircraft data to the weather data and to ascertain a probable movement corridor of the aircraft.

The in-band data is processed and in-band data pattern data associated with the content stream are created. Metadata are attached to the event identification data. The event identification data are provided to multimedia devices which receive broadcasted multimedia content streams containing video programs with in-band data. The in-band data are processed and compared to the event identification data. If a match occurs, the multimedia device uses the metadata to perform specified actions.

Abstract: Described herein is an electric motor assembly for an environmental control system. The electric motor assembly includes a fan configured to rotate to circulate air within a controlled environment chamber of the environmental control system, and an electric motor coupled to the fan and configured to rotate the fan. The electric motor includes a motor controller configured to receive a braking control signal from a sensor associated with the controlled environment chamber. The braking control signal indicates an entrance to the controlled environment chamber is about to be opened. The motor controller is also configured to initiate braking the electric motor in response to receiving the braking control signal.

The media guidance application predicts a first viewing impact of the first subscription and a second viewing impact of the second subscription, for the upcoming time period, wherein the viewing impact indicates a total predicted amount of time spent viewing the media packages in the upcoming time period. An available amount of time for viewing media in the upcoming time period is also determined. The media guidance application generates a subscription recommendation for the upcoming time period based on the first viewing impact, second viewing impact, and available amount of time for viewing media in the upcoming time period.

Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to a water processing system. In some embodiments, the water processing system may be configured to generate a potassium salt, such as potassium nitrate, an ammonium salt, such as ammonium nitrate, or both. In some embodiments, the water processing system may be at least partially powered by renewable energy, such as by using a liquid storage system that is at least partially underground. In some embodiments, the water processing system may be configured to reuse certain greenhouse emissions to improve performance of power generation systems associated with the water processing system.

The plurality of sensors includes a current transformer configured to be electromagnetically coupled to an electrical conductor that feeds a stator winding of the electric machine. The rectifier is coupled to the current transformer and is configured to convert an AC signal generated by the current transformer to a DC signal to supply power for the health monitor circuit. The microprocessor is coupled to the memory device and the plurality of sensors. The microprocessor is configured to periodically collect a stator current measurement from the current transformer and write the stator current measurement to the memory device.

Abstract: A water processing system includes a pretreatment system disposed within the water processing system. The pretreatment system may treat a feed stream including oil and brine and to generate a first brine stream. The pretreatment system includes a first filtration system that may receive the feed stream, the first filtration system may separate the feed stream into a hydrocarbon stream and an intermediate brine stream, the intermediate brine stream includes a plurality of minerals, and the hydrocarbon stream includes water, the oil, and suspended solids. The water processing system also includes a mineral removal system fluidly coupled to and disposed downstream from the first filtration system. The mineral removal system may receive and remove the plurality of minerals from the first brine stream output from the pretreatment system.
