  • Publication number: 20250150896
Abstract: Some examples of the techniques described herein may provide encoding or decoding approaches to generate vectors that meet an orthogonality condition in vector compression procedures (e.g., vector compression or decompression). Encoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the encode side may generate orthogonal compressed vectors or decoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the decode side may generate orthogonal decompressed vectors. For instance, a neural network layer may be trained to generate a compressed or decompressed vector that satisfies an orthogonality condition relative to one or more previously compressed or decompressed vectors in accordance with a dependency order or a compression sequence. An indication of the dependency order may be communicated between the encode side and the decode side to order encoder or decoder layers (e.g., to execute encoder or decoder layers in the compression sequence) to produce compressed or decompressed vectors that satisfy an orthogonality condition.

  • Publication number: 20250131418
Abstract: Systems and methods for proactive and automated pre-transaction verification and authentication of electronic transfers are described. In various examples, transaction details associated with an electronic transfer (e.g., a wire transfer, an Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer, a peer-to-peer (P2P) transfer, or a cryptocurrency transfer) are verified and the recipient is authenticated by a transaction verification service associated with an electronic transfer service provider (e.g., a financial institution, a peer-to-peer (P2P) payment system, or a custodial wallet provider) prior to permitting the electronic transfer to proceed. In this manner, electronic transfers are secured against electronic transfer fraud and/or mistaken fund or asset transfers, for example, to an incorrect account (or an incorrect cryptocurrency wallet) by the electronic transfer service provider.

  • Patent number: 12281624
Abstract: An engine system that delivers torque to a driveline of a vehicle includes an internal combustion engine (ICE), a manifold, a compressor and a controller. The manifold selectively communicates air into the ICE. The compressor is driven by an electric motor and is configured to deliver air toward and away from the manifold. The controller determines an ICE start request and, based on the ICE start request, sends a signal to the electric motor to rotate the compressor in a direction that moves air out of the manifold. The eCompressor is used to deplete air in the manifold before starting the ICE. As a result, a reduction in fuel used and therefore a reduction in emissions at startup is achieved.

  • Patent number: 12282391
Abstract: Systems and methods include a remote access controller of an IHS (Information Handling System) that provides remote management of the IHS. The remote access controller initiates an update of firmware used to operate a hardware component of the IHS by transmitting a firmware image to the hardware component via a first signaling pathway connecting the remote access controller to the hardware component. The remote access controller detects a failure in transmission of the firmware image to the hardware component via the first signaling pathway and identifies a second signaling pathway connecting the remote access controller to the hardware component. The remote access controller resumes transmission of the firmware image to the hardware component via the second signaling pathway and the firmware used to operate the hardware component is updated using the transmitted firmware image.

  • Patent number: 12284246
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Publication number: 20250119224
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate signaling with a network entity, the signaling indicating a first bandwidth size and a second bandwidth size associated with a projection parameter (W1) and a compression parameter (W2), respectively. The second bandwidth size may be less than the first bandwidth size. In some cases, the UE may determine W1 and W2 based on a first machine learning (ML) model and a second ML model, respectively. The UE may project a portion of received channel state information (CSI) associated with the first bandwidth size onto a sub-space defined by W1 and may compress a portion of the projection associated with the second bandwidth size based on W2. The UE may transmit channel state feedback including the projection, the compression of the projection, a compression of W1, a compression of W2, or any combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20250109715
Abstract: An engine system that delivers torque to a driveline of a vehicle includes an internal combustion engine (ICE), a manifold, an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit, an electric turbine (eTurbine) and a controller. The EGR circuit has an EGR valve that selectively moves between open and closed positions. The eTurbine is driven by an electric motor and is configured to deliver air away from the manifold. The controller determines an ICE start request and, based on the ICE start request, sends a signal to the EGR valve to open thereby fluidly connecting the manifold and the eTurbine. The controller sends a signal to the eTurbine to rotate and move air out of the manifold through the EGR circuit. The eTurbine is used to deplete air in the manifold before starting the ICE. As a result, a reduction in fuel used and therefore a reduction in emissions at startup is achieved.

  • Patent number: 12267708
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set to be used for analog channel state feedback (CSF) and an association between the SRS resource set and a set of downlink channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs). The UE may measure the set of downlink CSI-RSs associated with the SRS resource set. The UE may transmit one or more SRSs for analog CSF using the SRS resource set and based at least in part on measuring the set of downlink CSI-RSs. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 12257028
Abstract: An electronic device may include body composition analysis circuitry that estimates body composition based on captured images of a face, neck, and/or body (e.g., depth map images captured by a depth sensor, visible light and infrared images captured by image sensors, and/or other suitable images). The body composition analysis circuitry may analyze the image data and may extract portions of the image data that strongly correlate with body composition, such as portions of the cheeks, neck, waist, etc. The body composition analysis circuitry may encode the image data into a latent space. The latent space may be based on a deep learning model that accounts for facial expression and neck pose in face/neck images and that accounts for breathing and body pose in body images. The body composition analysis circuitry may output an estimated body composition based on the image data and based on user demographic information.
