  • Patent number: 11790981
Abstract: Provided is a method of performing an internal processing operation of a memory device in a system including a host device and the memory device. The memory device includes a memory cell array and a processor-in-memory (PIM) performing an internal processing operation. In an internal processing mode, by the PIM, the memory device performs the internal processing operation based on internal processing information stored in the memory cell array. When the internal processing information is an internal processing operation command indicating a type of the internal processing operation, the memory device outputs the internal processing operation command including an internal processing read command and an internal processing write command to the host device. The host device issues to the memory device a priority command determined from among a data transaction command and the internal processing operation command.

  • Publication number: 20230326101
Abstract: State of the art mechanisms being used for achieving diagnostic-quality images under low-dose settings for general CT imaging have the disadvantages that CT images are fixed during the optimization process to generate perfusion maps, which can lead to suboptimal CT images with respect to the perfusion maps generated, although they might appear spatially smooth or denoised. The disclosure herein generally relates to Computer Tomography (CT) scanning, and, more particularly, to a method and system for CT image reconstruction. The system performs modelling an optimization problem for joint estimation of a set of structural CT images and a perfusion map, and further solves the optimization problem for the reconstruction of the CT images of a subject.

  • Publication number: 20230305089
Abstract: State of the art systems being used for QSM reconstruction have explored prior information from both magnitude and phase data. However, the underlying assumption is that the susceptibility maps and the magnitude images have coinciding edges. Establishing the ground-truth susceptibility maps is difficult and leads to limited applicability of supervised methods. Further, with portable MRI machines becoming a reality, low-field imaging is getting more prominence, which brings in several associated challenges due to noise and external interference. The disclosure herein generally relates to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) imaging systems, and, more particularly, to a method and system for quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) reconstruction in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems. The system performs an iterative reconstruction of QSM, wherein in each iteration the reconstructed QSM from previous iteration is refined by comparing with a reference image generated using same subject's prior MRI data.

  • Patent number: 11768809
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for computer system data management. A leader node that is in a leader-follower relationship with a follower node is deployed to manage metadata across a plurality of interconnected computing nodes of the computer system. Upon a failure of any sort that results in a loss of operation or a disconnection of the leader node, the followers undertake steps to bring up a new leader. Such steps to bring up a new leader include electing a new leader to replace the lost or disconnected leader and initializing the data state of the new leader node by causing the leader to request incremental snapshots from followers. Additional metadata that might have changed since closing the incremental snapshots can also be retrieved from the followers. The metadata that might have changed since the time of closing the incremental snapshot is subjected to verification using a consensus algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20230300850
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device and a second device may communicate via a channel. The first device may generate and transmit a reference signal, which may be a distortion probing reference signal with a high peak to average power ratio. In one implementation, the first device may use the reference signal as an input for a neural network model to learn a nonlinear response of the second device transmission components. In another implementation, the second device may sample the generated reference signal, and use the samples as inputs for a neural network model to learn the nonlinear response. The first device and the second device may exchange signaling based on learning the nonlinear response, and each device may compensate for the nonlinear response when communicating via the channel.

  • Publication number: 20230290061
Abstract: Frames for texturing a 3D mesh may be selected to minimize the number of frames required to completely texture the mesh, thus reducing the overhead of texturing. Keyframes are selected from a video stream on the basis of amount of overlap from previously selected keyframes, with the amount of overlap held below a predetermined threshold. The 3D mesh may also be refined and corrected to ensure a higher quality mesh application, including color correction of the selected keyframes. Other embodiments are described.

  • Publication number: 20230290037
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for real-time progressive texture mapping of a 3d mesh. A sequence of frames of a scene captured by a capturing device, and keyframes that partially overlap in the sequence of frames are added to a queue of keyframes. A 3D mesh created from the sequence of frames is accessed. A computing device determines when changes to a property of the 3D mesh meet a predetermined threshold. One of the keyframes from the queue of keyframes is assigned to each face in the 3D mesh, and the 3D mesh is divided into mesh segments based on the assigned keyframes. The keyframe assigned to each of the mesh segments is used to compute texture coordinates for vertices in the respective mesh segment, and an image in the keyframe is assigned as a texture for the respective mesh segment.
