  • Patent number: 12188029
Abstract: Compositions and methods for transiently expressing proteins in a plant are provided. The compositions comprise plants, seeds, plant tissues, and plant parts expressing a protein, wherein the protein is expressed transiently and the transient expression of the protein can be used as a predictive model of how said protein will be expressed in stable transgenic plants in regards to qualitative and quantitative data. The predictive model may be used but is not limited to: promoter evaluation, evaluation of expression cassette construction for best performance (e.g. addition of enhancers or gene silencing suppressors), evaluation of best ways to express heterologous genes.

  • Publication number: 20240301440
Abstract: Provided herein are regulatory elements, such as transcriptional enhancers, introns, and terminators derived or obtained from various sources including Zea mays and plant viruses. Such regulatory elements are useful for expression cassettes for plants, including monocots (e.g., maize) and dicots (e.g., soy). Enhancers which increase gene expression of tissue specific promoters while maintaining tissue specific expression are provided.

  • Patent number: 12008127
Abstract: Techniques are described for pooling data originating from different entities into a data pool managed by a data pool management system for performing accurate and resource-efficient statistical and other data operations by entities. Techniques further include maintaining rule sets that govern access to the data sets of the data pool. The DPMS uses the rule sets to determine whether a particular data set, on which a particular operation is requested to be performed, qualifies as authorized data for the requesting entity. In an embodiment, the DPMS determines, based on one rule set, that the particular data set does not qualify as authorized data for the particular operation. The DPMS further determines that based on another rule set the particular data set does qualify as authorized data for the particular operation. Based on determining that authorizing rule set overrides the non-authorizing rule set, DPMS proceeds to performing the particular operation using the particular data set.

  • Patent number: 9294104
Abstract: A phase-locked loop circuit includes a phase detector, a charge pump, a capacitor, and a capacitor multiplier. The phase detector receives a reference frequency and a feedback frequency to generate a up/down signal. The charge pump, which includes a positive node and a negative node, receives the up/down signal to generate a first current. The capacitor is coupled to the negative node. The capacitor multiplier, coupled to the negative node, generates a second current which is the first current divided by a first scaling number.

  • Publication number: 20160047389
Abstract: A fan shutter device includes a frame, multiple slats and multiple sleeves. The frame has a first side and a second side, each of which is formed with multiple assembling channels, multiple fixing holes and multiple displacement slots. Each slat has two extension sections and a connection shaft. Each of two ends of the connection shaft is formed with a connection socket. Each sleeve has a pivot pin and a sleeve section. The pivot pin is assembled and connected in the connection socket. Multiple fixing members are respectively passed through the fixing holes to directly fix the sleeves so that the first and second sides are prevented from deforming in assembling process. The slats are spaced from the frame by a gap without abrading with or interfering with the frame. The extension sections are disposed in the displacement slots, which restrict the rotational angle of the slats.
