Abstract: Uses of depolymerized hyaluronan (e.g., prepared by sonicating high molecular weight hyaluronan such as naturally-occurring hyaluronan) or anti-Hyal-2 antibody in cancer treatment. Also described herein are methods for preparing depolymerized and crosslinked hyaluronan by sonication and the hyaluronan composition thus obtained.

Abstract: A hot-swap fan terminal mount structure for use with a fan includes at least one support seat, which has a fixing section, a supporting section and a receiving section. The fixing section is connected with the supporting section, and the receiving section is formed on the supporting section for receiving at least one terminal therein. With these arrangements, the hot-swap fan terminal mount structure can have reduced manufacturing cost and the terminal received in the receiving section is self-aligning. And, a fan using the hot-swap fan terminal mount structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: A zinc finger-like peptide for treating cancer, a pharmaceutical composition containing the zinc finger-like peptide and a method for treating cancer are disclosed. In the present invention, the zinc finger-like peptide for treating cancer comprises: at least seven amino acids, wherein the sequence of the at least seven amino acids has 85-100% similarity to a sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1.

Abstract: A method and a system for evaluating/analyzing patent portfolio using patent priorities are provided for selecting a patent family to establish a data set based on members of the patent family and priorities claimed by the members, forming a relationship matrix based on the members and the priorities claimed by the members in the data set and at last, and analyzing a relationship between the members of the patent family and the priorities claimed by the members of the patent family through the relationship matrix to form an analysis result and then, performing patent evaluation patent portfolio according to the analysis result. Accordingly, a patentee having numerous patents may quickly know what patents have high importance, high value and high techniques and the patentee or his competitor is facilitated to perform patent evaluation, patent portfolio, patent application and patent maintenance.

Abstract: This invention provides methods of transiently expressing a nucleotide sequence in one or more cells of a soybean plant, comprising: a) abrading the surface of a soybean plant and/or intact part thereof; and either (b1) immersing the abraded plant and/or abraded intact part thereof in a solution comprising Agrobacterium cells and a surfactant, wherein the Agrobacterium cells comprise the nucleotide sequence to be transiently expressed; (b2) applying a vacuum to the immersed plant and/or intact part thereof of step (b1); and (b3) releasing the vacuum, thereby introducing the solution into the plant and/or intact part thereof; or (c) contacting the abraded plant and/or abraded intact part thereof with a solution comprising Agrobacterium cells and a surfactant, wherein the Agrobacterium cells comprise the nucleotide sequence to be transiently expressed, whereby the nucleotide sequence is transiently expressed in one or more cells of the plant.

The snapshot mechanism includes a snapshot storage unit and a buffer storage unit, wherein the snapshot storage unit is used as a unit for storing data generated after a target storage unit snapshots data and accordingly generating a plurality of snapshot management data. In addition, the buffer storage unit temporarily stores new data and flushes the data to the target storage unit in predetermined time interval. According to the snapshot management data, the target storage unit can be rolled back or rolled forward to the status before a predetermined time.
